No Starrcade DVD

- Reader Brent R. Taylor sent word that WWE has apparently cancelled the previously planned WCW Starrcade DVD set, which was set for release sometime this year. A few months ago, he pre-ordered the "Best of Starrcade" DVD from FYE (originally scheduled for release on July 8), but received an email notification from FYE telling him that his order had been cancelled. On the product page on Amazon.com, they're saying that the project "has been discontinued by the manufacturer."

WWE really should try to check out how much WCW videos go for these days.

I think that's why they pulled it. Starrcade wasn't Vince's creation. Nothing Vince didn't make makes any money, so why waste time on a dvd of it.

I'd have liked that. Shame. WWE DVDs are mostly shit, so maybe a WCW one would have been good.
