Isn't it unbelievable that this guy has not been brought up to the main roster yet? He's a great worker with a lot of charisma and they still have him in development for over a year now! When can you see them bringing him up to the main roster? I hope it's by the end of this year!

The only problem with that is they would probably grossly misuse him like they do most of the great young talent they have. Do the words Shelton Benjamin mean anything? He's the most underrated superstar in the business today, aside from TNA's Petey Williams, and they're doing absolutely jack with him. I've been a wrestler myself for eight years now and I'd be highly pissed if I was just sitting in transition. Same story goes for "Wildcat" Chris Harris and Ron "The Truth" Killings. I talked to Cat recently and hopefully they'll both be up before too long.

Colt Cabana, from what I saw of him in the UK, has the potential to be a face version of Santino. Devilishly funny, but doesn't job to everyone. Hell, they could feud them, and have Santino finally show that he can work if given the chance. And the promos.....ooooh, I need a lie down

I have been lucky enough to see Cabana in the indy scene twice. Once in ROH and once in JAPW. Both times he was solid in the ring, but the thing that sticks out the most for me is how entertaining he was to watch. During his match with Delirious in JAPW he was cracking jokes between moves and both men put were incredibly entertaining to watch. In ROH, Colt and Homicide had this impromptu street fight around the arena and it was incredibly entertaining.
To make a long story short, Colt Cabana has it all! He is real good in the ring, a fun personailty, and incredibly entertaining to watch. I REALLY hope he gets called up to the main roster real soon, maybe even through that ECW New Talent Initiative. We'll just have to wait and see...

I saw Colt Cabana wrestling in OVW in the months prior to WWE severing ties. He seems talented and charismatic and it doesn't hurt that he is such good friends with current World Heavyweight Champ (which I still say they should just call WCW Champ; I just feel it would make it more equal seeming since basically its the World Heavyweight Title and WWE Heavyweight Title, while they also have the ECW Heavyweight title but it is NOT seen as on the same level as the other 2... confusing) Anyway back to the point I assume he will be brought up in that ECW superstar initiative thing...but be prepared to be disappointed when he probably won't be called Colt Cabana just as Matt Sydal is Evan Bourne, Atlas DaBone is Ricky Ortiz or whatever it is (anything would be an improvement on DaBone), and Chris Harris is... I don't even remember his name actually.

Lol, I really can't wait to see Cabana. The poster above hit it on the head, Cabana could be a face Santino. He can wrestle also....I have been waiting for this a long time, as I did with Sydal. Sydal got the call quick...bring up Colt.

What in the world is the WWE waiting for? Cabana has been stuck in a developmental territory for a year now. I just don't get that Chris Harris is able to just walk right into ECW but Cabana hasn't been given the call up yet. It makes no sense. Cabana was more than ready when he signed with the WWE. He is solid in the ring and has very good mic skills. If you ask me, they are just wasting his talent.

Well, a few weeks ago didn't they call up Colt Cabana as Scotty Goldman? I never saw him as Colt Cabana, but heard nothing but good stuff about him. So he shows up as this goofball Scotty Goldman and jobs to The Brian Kendrick. Not an impressive debut. I also think Colt Cabana is a better ring name than Scotty Goldman

Well im sure everyone knows why he was repackaged as Scotty Goldman. (If you don't it's so WWE can own the name.) I thought his debut promo was awseome. I was laughing pretty hard when he reacted to being in the box and then seeing the live version of himself. It was well done, now lets just see if they let him run with it or just sweep him under the rug. The best idea for the wwe is to put all the new talent on ECW let them get some tv time and then move them appropriately. Let them get some experience under their belts (working infront of a wwe crowd) and then do what needs to be done.

Everything also reverts back to creative. Take some time don't rush everything and think long and hard about what your putting out there. When they come up with an idea look at it and think "If i was a fan sitting at home would i want to watch this?" thats the only question that needs to be asked. But it seems like they are writing things down on post it notes sticking them to the wall walking about ten feet away and throwing darts at them to come up with the new story lines. (Sometimes that may be a good idea) if that is they way you want to do it fine but then still TAKE SOME TIME and PUT IN SOME EFFORT

Damn, I really need to start watching Smackdown. First. Brian Kendrick gets a huge push and now Colt (or whatever the hell he's called) makes his debut. I'm missing some good stuff. Obviously, I haven't had the opportunity to see Mr. Goldman in action in a WWE ring as of yet, but it doesn't sound like he's set up to make any kind of impact. Getting squashed is not going to gain him any kind of fanbase. I thoroughly enjoy the Kendrick push, it just sucks that Goldman was thrown under that bus so soon after his call up. Surely the WWE could have found someone else to job that match.
