I hate to say it, but I think it's true. If I enjoy the Hardy DVD I will probably kill myself.

Blasphemy, even though I'm starting to warm to the idea of Hardy for ECW champ when ECW goes to the raw tapings. Keep a real world title off of him.

The ECW Title is tailored for his guy. Just above a Mid-Card Belt and Under a Top Belt. Also the would have no problem in having him in Extreme Rules Matches for him to defend. I have the Hardy DVD on Order from eBay.

I like him because he doesn't give a shit if he gets the title. Which makes me want him to win it. While he's boring, he's no more so than the other wrestlers currently on top of Raw. He also jumps off high things. Which is awesome.

Finally Jake you have come to your senses :)
I have always liked Jeff Hardy even though I don't agree with what he does outside the ring.

Jeff Hardy is bettter than most wrestlers in WWE today. He is a spot monkey but he can also wrestle.Let him mature a little bit more, then give him the World title.Until then the ECW Title will fit him. Then you can take it off of Kane and give him the Real World Title he deserves.Jeff deserves the ECW Title now and the Real World Title in a few years.Jeff may be a lil immature and has a few drug problems but once he matures(which he has started to do)he will be ready.Pick up the Hardyz DVD people it is awesome.

ECW title is pretty much perfect for Jeff at this stage in his career. Test run for the main event, gets him on ppvs in title matches, so forth. They would just need to make sure they give him legitimate contenders so as to not make him look weak. Hardy vs Chavo would be a step down for him, but Hardy vs Kane wouldn't be too bad. If not the ECW title, then I could see them moving him over to Smackdown and testing him out for the WHC spot. Second prime championship, gets him lots of exposure, but they still have one other title to make up for it if he suddenly starts lacking.

jeff hardy is 30 years old, you'd think he'd be mature enough by now to get a title push, how many more years does he need?

I think mature as in mature in the main event scene. Hes only recently gotten above mid-card and it remains to be seen whether or not he can handle the pressure of that spot or indeed if he draws. From the looks of things what with Hardy merchandise a consistently good seller and the hardy boys dvd claiming number 1 spot in the Sports Dvd chart (beating HHH's to get there), i would expect a title push either Wwe or Ecw sometime soon.

But being number one on the Sports DVD bracket is hardly an accomplishment. I would wager to say that most WWE DVD's reach that platuea in their first week or so of release. It's not exactly like it's cracking the overall top 10, it's a niche category, dominated by the WWE and it's DVDs.
People also have to remember with Jeff Hardy, he is only 30, which is relatively young as far as champinos are concerned. Michaels, Hogan, Austin, Hart were well into their 30's when they received their first title runs, so don't push it on him.
I don't think Jeff should be WWE Champion, but I'm more open to that reality at this point then watching another laborious title run by a bum in Triple H. The ECW title at this point is perfect for Jeff.
Someone didn't get their Jeff Hardy shot

I think Jeff has improved leaps and bounds over the last 6 months. The suspension was an unfortunate set-back, but his match with Shawn Michaels with the shock win in my opinion was a very solid one and his match with Triple H at Armageddon was the best in the card. Then his title feud with Orton, well i was initially hesitatant to get behind it, but something about the way he carried himself, tied his hair back, held his title, stared Orton in the eyes and cut the first believable promo of his career, something inside of me found myself liking the guy, not as a spot monkey, as a main event contender. The match itself helped both guys too, Hardy pummels the champ, shows he can hang with the big dogs, and then Orton won with the RKO, showing you may be good, but he is better.
I think we can all assume Jeff would have gotten the Money in the Bank at mania, which unless they want to break tradition, means he was planned to wear a major title, even if only for a short time. Where he goes from here is interesting, he isnt on the card for Night of Champions, yet he's mixing it up with the two that are.... triple threat coming maybe?
I dont honestly see him in singles feuds with the champion very often, but he can certainly put on good matches with anyone on the roster, he's been proving that for a while now.
As for the ECW title, i dont see Vince taking one of his top draws off of his main show, then again i think the same about Shawn Michaels but have a gut feeling he'll be off to Smackdown soon, so who knows.

Well triple h was 29 , orton and lesnar were 24 a piece and the rock was 27 when they first won the world titles so I think its not far fetch to have hardy win the big one at his age. Jeff has been wrestling in wwe off and on for 10 years so waiting too long to give him the title makes him lose momentum. If jeff eventunately wins the wwe title he might be just a transitional champion depending on how his first reign goes. Wrestlemania would be the best time have jeff main event for the title and give the writers time to build jeff up

Turns out I don't like Jeff Hardy. I got round to watching the TNA Best Of Jeff DVD. So it turns out I'm a fan of Monty Brown & Abyss. Who knew.
