Just 24 hours after Judgment Day, four blockbuster matches were announced for One Night Stand, the one night where the WWE goes extreme. Half of those matches came from the biggest upset of Monday night, when Randy Orton & JBL defeated WWE Champion Triple H & John Cena in a tag team competition, earning the right to challenge the The Game and the Chain Gang Soldier to singles matches with extreme stipulations of the challengers’ choosing.

JBL assured that his match will be as vicious as the self-proclaimed “wrestling god” can make it, by demanding a First Blood Match. Orton, however, will compete against Triple H for the WWE Championship in the same type of match in which he won the title last October: a Last Man Standing Match. Knowing the bad blood that still boils between these four competitors, what type of pre-battle tactics can we expect in the next two weeks leading up to One Night Stand?

Flowing out of the ongoing rivalry between Santino Marella and Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, the cocky Italian Superstar ridiculed “Hot Rod” and his super-fan, Jimmy Kimmel’s Cousin Sal on Santino’s own version of Piper’s Pit. After Piper and Sal threw him from the ring, Marella challenged Cousin Sal to a match, which Piper promptly accepted on Sal’s behalf. When can we expect to see these two spicy Italians square off, and how might the kilted WWE Legend be involved in their confrontation?

Batista has a bone to pick with Shawn Michaels, and by defeating Chris Jericho on Raw last Monday, he earned the chance to take on The Showstopper at One Night Stand. The Animal is still angry about HBK faking a knee injury, but William Regal has assured that HBK and The Animal’s match will end with someone legitimately injured by making their contest a Stretcher Match. Shawn Michaels is a man who will do anything to win — how will he use the next two weeks to prepare for the raw power of The Animal?

Though much of the night’s talk was of One Night Stand on June 1, there was another shocking development Monday night. After being defeated by Mr. Kennedy in a Loser Gets Fired Match, William Regal has been relieved of his duties as General Manager of Raw. Regal has a successful wrestling career behind him, having been recently crowned King of the Ring, and even garnered praise from Mr. McMahon himself for his work as GM of Raw. Have we seen the last we see of this vicious British brawler? And who will step into his kingly shoes on the next Monday Night Raw?

Ok seriously people ONS is not an ECW PPV anymore, there are no more brand exclusive PPVs, so people just really need to stop thinking the ECW is getting it's on PPV, it's not, neither is Raw and neither is SD!, this is just another PPV the only difference being that all the matches are gimmick matches (you know kinda like all of TNA's PPVs)

I'm actuelly hopeing for this, it could also be a good way to set up the return of Regal, and get the feud between him and Kennedy going again, think about it, two months from now Kennedy is defending his IC title and Regal comes out of nowhere (still "unemployed" at this time) and interferes and screws Kennedy out of the title to get his revenge, and their feuds continues from there

The developing story of a WWE shakeup is creating buzz around the wrestling world. We already know there will be a major announcement tonight on RAW. Sources within the company have been very hush hush in regards to what exactly this is, but we may have found something. Apparently, WWE lawyers have been in talks with none other than Eric Bischoff. Bischoff, currently with Jason Hervey of Wonder Years fame, and Hulk Hogan is producing the celebrity wrestling program. WWE is looking into whether there are any contractual obligations or restrictions to him appearing on WWE programing. If there are not, we are told this might have something to do with the current shake up WWE has sent out feelers for.

Some within the company believe this has something to do with the current Smackdown! World Title vacancy situation. It should be noted that a member of production has made it known that WWE recieved a brand new World Heavywieght Championship belt late last week, with the only difference being the lack of a WWE logo on the top, as is the case with the current one.

....Update -- One of our readers works with Vanguard Moving & Storage, based in Stamford, CT. He sent in that WWE made an unusual request last night. Vanguard was asked to take certain old WCW memorabilia, and express deliver it out. Being the holiday weekend, this is a very strange request, as WWE usually does not operate this way. More to come.

Meh... Jericho has nothing going on at ONS and neither does Kennedy, have Kennedy come out during the Jericho/HBK match and join JR and King on commentary then after the match, have him issues a challenge for the IC title, or he come suggest an IC title match at ONS to McMahon

That would be good, but then it'd end up with Regal coming back and being the third man in the endless run of rematches for the IC belt. Third man in something like that is gonna get buried.

Yeah, I havn't worked that part out yet, I was thinking Ladder match, but they already have a TLC match which is the same thing really, cage match would work too, but they did that last month and I can't see them doing it again this soon, so I'm not really sure, Lumberjack match maybe?

This is kinda the problem with the whole card having to be gimmick matches, I'd much rather see them in a regular title match, but they can't do that with this PPPV

Could be interesting, if they utilise it right, Burchill was wasted as the Pirate, he was well over and had an amazing finisher in the C4.
