How many people had the kind of year Batista did in 2007? How many solid matches did he put on? Has Smackdown ratings not improved tremendously throughout the year as Batista has chased the title?

Batista has carried Smackdown throughout 2007, and has put on several solid matches along the way. I don't remember who the other option was, but if it was Rhyno like someone said, then what has Rhyno ever done to deserve a vote over Batista? Be a main-eventer for a dead company?

I'm not a Batista fan, but I don't 'hate' him. I think his in ring work is mediocre, he's slow, lacks a real amount of charisma, and just comes off as another one of these guys who got popular with Vince because of his size.

The only great matches I remember seeing Batista have in 2007 was with The Undertaker. The rest of the year he's spent feuding with either Khali or Edge, both I find quite boring.

I'm so tired of Batista being in like all the world title matches for the past couple years but atleast he wasn't in the one at Royal Rumble and not in the one at No Way Out.

Batista is a terrible mic worker and a terrible ring worker.If WWE is so obsessed with people having mic skills why did they put the belt on Batista ? Batista was never a fan favorite or a draw until he won the rumble,before that everyone agreed that Batista sucked.

I like Batista, I think he has a good personna. Him and Undertaker stole the show at Mania last year and had a couple of other good matches. Batista has produced a few okay matches...he's a power guy so you can't really expect 5-star quality...and SmackDown is not really that good so you can't blame him for it sucking. I think he's been a good big-man champion, better than Sid and Diesel were.

I am definitly joining this club, finally people i can agreee with. Batista is a piece of shit in and out of the ring. There are so many reasons like all of his matches are the same, his finisher is horrible (Awesome Kong does it way better), he gets title shot after title shot after title shot, you get my drift, i mean he got repetitive title shots when king booker was champ until he finally won it. I just don't understand why when Batista gets screwed in a title match he gets a rematch, but when deserving people get screwed coughundertakercough they don't get rematches. I mean come on Taker gets hit with a camera by edge and loses and Batista starts a feud with edge a week or two later WHAT THE HELL? And outside the ring theres no difference outside the ring he's best friends with H so all he has to do is ask and poof...a title shot. Well, I will admit that I wish he'd take apart in some Non-Title feuds, but just because the head-honchos at WWE decided to put Batista in all of the main events, that doesn't mean we should all take a big shit on Batista himself.

Yes, there are people who are more deserveing than Batista, but again...he's alright. I am usually pretty entertained when a Batista match comes on. And why is that? Because I don't go into every single last match he has with the mindset of "oh great...Batista is on this is gonna FUCKIN SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" No. I just go into the match, watch it, and enjoy it for what it is. Batista is not here to wow us with his great techincal ability...he is just here to entertain us. He doesn't put on any 5-Star Matches, but for what his role is in the WWE, which is a powerhouse, he is an entertaining guy to watch in the ring, in my opinion.

So all I am trying to say is to stop picking apart every single match Batista has just because Batista is in it...why don't you give the match itself a chance before you just decide to hate it before it even starts?
