I looked at it, and I thought it was pretty bad-ass. I don't know if anybody actually thought wrestling was THAT scripted though. It's a pretty interesting read, with wrestling talk involved.

Wow, thats pretty interesting. I'm sure they sway away from it time to time but thats pretty specific.
It would be cool too have it in hand while RAW goes on live. Than you could be like, ha, he messed up that spot.

that is reallt interesting to see because almost everything really is scripted. the one thins that surprised me was that promos are scripted down to every last word and I dont like that. Back in the day you would have Ric Flair and Roddy Piper cutting promos on each other completely off the top of their heads while the fans and producers watched in anticipation of what would come next. Im sure that they let big time guys switch around their lines after theyre given the general idea of what to say but looking at that they had Shawn Micheals and Kurt Angle two great promo guys with every word scripted.

interesting stuff...never knew one came out like that. I don't know...yeah it's on paper, but I dont see WWE, especially big timers like flair and HHH needing a full on script. The rooks, sure. Chances are, most of the guys write their own stuff and feed it to the writers.

Well, it also in a way proves that they're better actors than we all originally thought. If you didn't know before this that the ENTIRE FREAKING THING was scripted, they must be doing SOMETHING right.

Wow. I'm in shock from reading all of that, lol. I knew it was scripted, but never to that extent. The wrestlers really are amazing actors. Especially as most of us never knew it was as scripted as that. I mean, it even tells them what tone of voice to use at times!
That was a really interesting read though, I'm just trying to work my mind back to when all of that happened. It is really weird to think, yet also good for some reason. My respect for the wrestlers has grown even more.

Is TNA Scripted Too!
Of course. Actually, a couple weeks ago a TNA script was leaked too...the only problem for them was, unlike this WWE script, it was a show that hadn't aired yet lol. I'm not sure if it had even been filmed yet.
Believe me when I say that literally everything on TV (except for sporting events, obviously) is completely scripted second by second and word for word. In wrestling, segments rarely go perfectly though...wrestlers will screw up their lines, miss cues from others in the ring, talk over each other, etc. and have to do at least some improvisation. Also, the more charismatic and creative wrestlers (HBK, Triple H, Cena, etc) are usually heavily involved in writing their own lines.
