Remember in Pro wrestling, you don't have to be a good wrestler to be a good in ring performer. I mean look at Cena, Rock,Warrior, some crappy wrestlers by term, but great in ring perfomers and that is what counts and Hogan is a better in ring perfomer than Flair and that is true. hogan comes once in a blue moon because he has doesn't want fans to remember him as flabby wrestler with a belly as we remember Flair!

So i thought that some inside source said something special was supposed to happen. So what happened? Nothing. It was a very crappy match and the only big thing that the crowd might have enjoyed about was the money falling onto them. But if i recall correctly Donald Trump did that on raw last year so that couldn't have been the surprise. It think this storyline was just dumb anyways.

It was a great show, much better than I expected. RKO winning was awsome, Taker was obvious, Mayweather/Show match was way better than I expected, Finlay/JBL was a really good match and MITB had some great moments. But most importantly was the HBK/Flair match was amazing, if you are a wrestling fan, you wanted to see Flairs last match, so you should not be happy you didn't order the PPV. Great Wrestlemania!

I have to say that i'm really disappointed with the triple threat...I think it was the best match on paper that i've never seen in a long time...but it was very bad...nothing happened...
Best moments: Flair vs HBK, Benjamin through a ladder, Undertaker entrance, Undertaker vs Edge, the BIG technical problem when all the lights turned off lol...and finally when JBL threw a garbage can right on Hornswoggle...

This Wrestlemania just rocked...I loved the Flair-HBK match, I wasn't born during the era in which Ric Flair made his name and even I was a bit misty eyed (bug in my eye- I swear)- even had my mom who hadn't watched wrestling since she was a kid come watch....showed me what impact RIc Flair has played in alot of lives, whether they realise it or not.

Rest of the night rocked also, Mayweather match was surprisingly good- wouldn't want him to punch me with brass knucks. Bunnymania wasn't as bad as expected. Taker-Edge went as I thought it would- still rocked though:)

Wrestlemania 24 made some history last night:


The Undertaker became the 3rd wrestler to win three world titles in the main event at Wrestlemania, joining Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin. In terms of overall titles, Christian also won three titles at Wrestlemania, winning the tag team titles twice and the Hardcore title one.
Randy Orton became only the 2nd heel to retain a World title, joining HHH.
HHH has now lost 4 straight Wrestlemanias, losing to Benoit, Batista, Cena, and Orton.
This is the first Wrestlemania that John Cena was pinned, plus the first Wrestlemania he did not walk out with a championship.
The Undertaker is now 16-0 at Wrestlemania, with 14 pinfalls, 1 DQ win (Giant Gonzalez) and now 1 submission victory.
This is Edge's first one-on-one loss at Wrestlemania. (At least he hasn't been pinned!)
Money in the Bank has a pattern so far. CM Punk is the 2nd face to win it, and so far the pattern is heel, face, heel, face. Also, he is the first ECW star to win it, and the first to win after participating in the match before.

Please tell me you're being sarcastic. Flair was good, but he was spent within the first ten minutes of the match. That match ranked #5 on the night. The two title matches were much better.

Don't confuse the emotion after the match with the action in the ring. from bell to bell, minus the last ten seconds, that match was good, but not great.

Actually, I like HBK and I liked the match a lot, but unlike most people, I don't believe everything that HBK touches turns to gold. The WHC was much better, MITB was better (and you know my opinion on those matches), the WWE title match was better.

Flair vs. Michaels was good, but not great. Flair couldn't go, and it showed. Put it this way, if that match happened at any other pay per view, easily match of the night, but htis is Wrestlemania, and the title matches came to play. Without HBK vs. Flair going in the middle of the card, I don't think it would have pushed the guys going on later to do as good.

That WWE title match was just meh, not good by any means but not bad neither, and the WHC match didn't pick up and bored the crowd to tears for about the first 10 minutes, as for MITB, it's the best we've seen yet, the starpower had alot to do with that and I agree with your opinion on the taking away mid card matches but HBK/Flair was flawless, if it was anyone who proved they couldn't go it was HBK for about 5 minutes after he busted his ribs, which added more to the story. Which again was fantastic.

Either way, Mania or not Mania, that match is MOTN and still a MOTY contender in my opinion.
