Oh shit, yeah, V.1's guys are free agents!

DAMMIT! I already made my pick!

Pissed off now. Majorly.

TheOneBigWill
08-31-2007, 03:48 PM
Holy crap, ALL of WV.1's picks/selections have been made FAs? So, does that mean only 5 of us remain?

By the time we get around to finishing our roster.. theres probably going to only be one of us left.. hahaha

TheOneBigWill
08-31-2007, 03:52 PM
So then, who's turn is it? Mr(s.) Sam's?? How long is WV.1 going to even be in prison? I mean, you're instantly eliminating him & we don't know if he'd miss the whole rest of the draft, do we?

Colamania
08-31-2007, 03:52 PM
I'm P/O'ed that I already picked Orton. There's at least 5 guys on V.1's roster I would have prefered to Orton.

Colamania
08-31-2007, 03:55 PM
I think it is Mrs Sam's turn, didn't WHoLe FuCKiN SHoW already make his pick?
(Sting. Check the old thread. Mrs Sam, you might wanna update before you pick).

I think this could be a good thing. The picks will move faster.

Uncle Sam
08-31-2007, 03:57 PM
I'll be making my pick soon. And people rarely escape from the prison. That sick bastard Jake gives them hope and then snatches it away once he's toyed with them enough.

Hot damn, I'm Mrs. Sam!!

Colamania
08-31-2007, 03:59 PM
So then, who's turn is it?

Hot Damn, it's Mrs Sam's!

Uncle Sam
08-31-2007, 04:02 PM
My next two picks: The Undertaker and The Rock. If anyone wants to offer a substantial trade for these two, I'll be listening. WFS, your turn.

Colamania
08-31-2007, 04:04 PM
Substantial trade offers being accepted via PM?

Hmm... there's some serious wheeling and dealing going on around here. I like it :)

For a teenager, i can be a wise ass when it comes to trades.

TheOneBigWill
08-31-2007, 05:43 PM
Damn SHoW, I was hoping to pick Lesnar up.. lol I didn't honestly think you'd go for him.

Okay, so I guess that means my next pick is.. KANE!

THe WHoLe FuCKiN SHoW

Cola is offline, & I have no clue what time it is there.. so I don't know if he'll be back on soon or not.

I wanted to clearify, with the recent impact thats happened.. I still have 3 reserve Tag Team members left. (D-Von Dudley, Lance Storm, & Joey Mercury) I have 4 remaining picks left. So I'm pushing picking up my reserve Tag Team members until my final 3, & picking up my last mystery pick in the next round/selection.. assuming he remains a FA.

Hey guys. It's 23:56 here. Almost midnight. And the midnight hour is the perfect moment for this... I'm sure I'll shock a few people with this one.

"OK, OK. Here it comes..." Shane O'Mac stands nervously, centre of the ring, no Bigelow in sight. "Randy Orton, how dare you do this? How dare you take out my man, Bam Bam Bigelow? Well, because of that, I'm gonna be forced to make this short and sweet. The way I see this, the recent trade of AMW for RVD & Sabu left Triple X with a steel cage match... but without opponents. Well, not for long! Introducing, my newest pick for the LWF, he is the Charismatic Enigma, he is Jeff Hardy!"

LWF News: Following the selection of Jeff Hardy for the LWF Roster, it has been revealed that Matt Hardy is on reserve for the Lightning Wrestling Federation. Also, Shane O'Mac has confirmed that the Hardyz will fight Triple X inside a steel cage at the upcoming supershow extravaganza!

New LWF Member: Jeff Hardy (Matt Hardy reserved)

Yo, cmlv18, you're up.

Obviously, thanks to the departure of jpfizzle, I'm up again after cmlv18. If i'm offline when he makes his pick, it's pretty obvious that my next pick is Matt Hardy. So, when he makes his pick, just count Matt Hardy as my next one and then move on to TheOneBigWill.

Sorry for yet another CM post here guys... Mrs Sam, you've fucked up a little here. On the first post, I have 2 number 10 picks (for some reason, Chris Daniels is above number 9, listed as 10, and then the guy below number 9 (I think Super Crazy, but not sure) is also listed as 10. Thus, the numbers look like i've missed a pick, as there's still 6 empty spaces, whereas there should be 5. (Technically, there's 5 empty spots and there should be four, as Jeff is about to go in, but hey, who's counting? Oh yeah, I am, that's the entire reason for this post).

Well, my next 2 picks made, i'm off to bed. Goodnight guys.

Just to clearify, Colamania addressed that with this pick, he wanted Matt Hardy, so therefore.. I'd assume its my pick? I would like someone to confirm this, but because it'll be hours (I'd assume) before anyone gets on.. I'll go ahead & make my next pick in the following minutes..

Dustin Rhodes walks out on stage, carrying a golden wig & vinyl golden tights. He makes his way to the ring, ignoring the fans & the glamour, ignoring the glitter that falls from the sky & the flashing gold lights. Dustin asks for a microphone...

(Dustin)- "A little over a decade ago, I was brought into this business, remade into this business, as this.. this 'character' known as Goldust. About five years before that, I was asked to come in with my Father, Dusty. I debuted with my Father, but after only half a year or so.. I was told that I was stale. Me, the son of Dusty Rhodes, the American Dream.. was stale. So I basically got canned."

Dustin walks around the ring, as he allows the fans to accept what he's saying. Then begins to speak some more.

(Dustin)- "Now then, 1995, I was called & on the other end of the phone.. I had a business man tell me.. 'Dustin, we wanna bring you back, but not as yourself. No, we got the perfect gimmick, its guaranteed to get you over, you'll be the new Main Event, the next thing in Pro Wrestling.' So I said, what the hell, sure, why not. And there you have it.. 'Goldust' was born."

Once again, Dustin stops & allows the fans to understand what he's explaining. Dustin once again, begins to speak.

(Dustin)- "Now, fast forward to present. I was picked up by a company thats now no longer a company, the P4P. And wouldn't you know it, they debuted me.. as 'Goldust,' because once again, they obviously didn't think I could get over as myself. So now, right here, right now. I get a phone call from the same business man that called me back in 1995. Mr. Vince McMahon. He says to me, 'Dustin, we need you to finalize our roster. We have everyone to Main Event, & everyone to open, but we need the perfect fit to fill the card & you're everything we'd ever need.' So I said, you screwed me once, but I'm willing to forgive & forget.. just let me be myself & I'll get your company ratings. So he agrees & I come here to debut.. this.. "

(holds up the Golden attire) "This is the shit they gave me when I arrived at the building. I'm told.. 'Mr. McMahon would like you to become 'Goldust' once again, because the crowd loves it.' Well.. McMahon, you, along with anyone in this arena who can't respect me enough to allow me to be who I am.. can kiss my ass & go straight to hell!"

(Dustin throws the Golden attire on the ground) "I'm here as the next selection for A.C.W.. The contract is final, the spot is mine.. & McMahon, I promise you.. you'll never.. NEVER.. forget the name of.. Dustin.. Rhodes!"

A.C.W. with its 16th Round/17th Selection: Dustin Rhodes

My final, remaining 3 Draft Selections will be my reserve Tag Team members. Except for this pick, which will be altered.

A.C.W. Has learned that Joey Mercury has failed, I repeat.. FAILED a talent test. He will no longer be joining John Morrison to reform M&M (not M.N.M. as stated way earlier) A.C.W. has also learned that John Morrison has requested the following superstar to be replaced as his Tag Team partner, to face the Dudleyz in their Ladder match.. so, without further ado.. I give you the Round 17/18th Selection:

18. Kenny Dykstra

Mr(s.) Sam, could you please just write in my final two spots as my reserve Tag Team members.
19. Lance Storm (for Justin Credible)
20.D-Von Dudley (for Bubba Ray Dudley)

Also, if I MUST take Joey Mercury because I reserved him originally, than I will. However, if not (since Mercury isn't exactly high on being wanted as a single's star) then Kenny is my next pick, with my final two being the reserve ones. Thank You, A.C.W.'s draft is complete. Shane O'Mac stands, ring centre, Bam Bam Bigelow still missing. "OK, let's make this quick. You see, I need to put something to rest. People think that Rob Van Dam and Sabu are competing as a tag team here in the LWF. Hell no! Just because they were drafted here together, doesn't mean they're gonna be a team. RVD... I have big plans for that man. And Sabu? Well, it's time to discover that one! Sabu will be wrestling... in a barbed wire massacre! Who will his opponent be? Only the man who he famously wrestled in a barbed wire match a long time ago... the Lightning Wrestling Federation's newest draft pick, Terry Freakin Funk!!!" Funk walks out onto the stage to amazing cheers! Suddenly, Sabu flies out behind him and nails him with a chair! Funk drops forwards, and Sabu dropkicks him in the ribs. Funk rolls - and drops off the stage! Sabu sets up the chair, takes a run up, and flies off the stage, crashing down onto Funk! The EMT's rush out to both Funk and Sabu as the lights go down...

Shane McMahon stands in the centre of the ring, looking very comfortable, Bam Bam Bigelow stood behind him once again. "Alright. Now, once and for all, this is going to change the world of..." and just like that, the lights go out. The screen suddenly lights up, the words "I'm Coming" displayed... this time in blood red. Suddenly, lights flare up, concentrated on the ring. Shane McMahon is stood alone! Another spotlight flares up, concentrated this time on the outside of the ring, the edge opposite from the entrance ramp. Bigelow lies there, knocked out cold, bleeding from the head. Suddenly, there is an ominous sound of glass cracking, and one other thing - evil laughing from backstage somewhere... the glass suddenly shatters, cascading once again down to the entrance ramp. A spotlight swings around to face the hole left in the stage. Stood there on the girders, amidst shards of glass, is one man...

Father James Mitchell!

"Oh yes! Shane McMahon... you thought you could just waltz in and take control of the Lightning Wrestling Federation? That was not going to happen without a fight! Jim Cornette is gone... but that does not leave you as the general manager! No... that leaves the LWF open for the taking! And right now... I'm taking it for myself!" Suddenly, all the lights go down. The lights shoot back up - and Judas Mesias is stood behind Shane! Shane turns straight into a spinebuster, and within seconds the La Patriota is locked in! Suddenly, a man walks into the arena from the entrance. He is not a tall man, but he gives off an aura of immense power. "Alright, alright, alright! This stops now! Banderas, Mesias, whatever you want to be called, let go of McMahon now!" Mesias drops McMahon and stands, staring at the man in the entranceway, glancing up about 30 feet above the man's head at Mitchell. "OK, that is it. First of all, allow myself to introduce... myself. My name is Colin Russell-Ames. But you may call me... Colamania. I own this entire company! The fact is, McMahon, I do not believe what you did to Cornette. I allowed you to continue... because you had guts. But... blowing up 2 screens, sending your man into a warzone? That takes more than guts... that takes balls! So, right now, I'm officially announcing it: the next draft pick for the LWF is Ricky Banderas, aka Judas Mesias! And, at Relentless, it will be Bam Bam Bigelow vs Judas Mesias, and the winner's manager will take control of the LWF! Until then, I will conduct all on screen operations myself. I will se you 3... and Bigelow, but I doubt he can hear me - at Relentless!"

New LWF Member: Judas Mesias

If I do say so myself... that is how to write a storyline!

A risky move? Of course it's a risky move! That's what the LWF is about. Besides, I've seen him wrestle before (as Ricky Banderas), and until he appears, he can just use the finishers he used as Banderas. He's a great wrestler, and a great addition to the Lightning Wrestling Federation.

Speaking of which...

Shelton Benjamin and Super Crazy wrestle at a house show. They've had a pretty good match so far. Crazy goes to the top rope. Benjamin suddenly springs to his feet, and jumps to the top rope in one flight. Crazy pushes him sidewards. Benjamin lands on his feet on the arena floor - and a fan swings a chair, cracking him in the side of the head! The fan, wearing a Boogeyman mask, leaps over the security wall and grabs Benjamin. He throws Shelton into the wall, then smashes him in the ribs with a chair! Benjamin drops to the floor as security grab the man. In the confusion, the mask is ripped from his head - and it's revealed that the crazed fan is actually Charlie Haas! Haas yells "you had this coming! You had this coming!" Suddenly, Colamania walks out onto the stage. "OK... we all know that I admire people with guts... and by God, that was amazing! Charlie Haas, you are the final draft pick!"

The Final Draft: Charlie Haas

Colamania stands in the centre of the ring. He raises a microphone to his mouth, smiling. "To be frank, I am in shock. Shocked that this man wasn't picked up from the free agency after he ended up back there. Ladies and gentlemen, that last man to be drafted in this entire draft... here he is... Booker T!" T walks down to the ring, smile on his face as he steps back into wrestling. "Now Booker T is back! I am officially going to take the world by storm once again, now... can you dig that, Suckaaaaaa!" T high-fives Colamania, and they leave the ring"

The Final Draft: Booker T

Um... I've got Booker T. Sucka!

LWF Strike!

Colamania stands ring centre, at the beginning of the first TV broadcast of the LWF, live from Birmingham's NIA. "Ladies and gentlemen, as you may know, most of the card for LWF's Relentless supershow..." he pauses and smiles as the crowd cheers "most of the card has been finalised, withholding possibilites of trades. There are still 2 wrestlers who are yet to have a match booked... those two wrestlers are Super Crazy and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Now, if these two wrestled, I think we all know who would emerge as victor... so I'm making some changes to the card. Jimmy Snuka is one of the greats... therefore, he will be added to the LWF Championship match! It will now be Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam vs Jimmy Snuka for the LWF Title!" The crowd pops for this huge announcement. CM smiles, then raises the microphone again... "As for Super Crazy... well, the fact is, he doesn't seem to fit in with any of the othr matches. He drafted himself in the first place... so I'm letting him do what he wants again! He has a choice... he can add himself to one of the following two match choices..."

A graphic comes up on the screen. On one side, Umaga and Samoa Joe are dsplayed. On the other, Terry Funk and Sabu!

"Super Crazy, you have until the end of the night to make your choice. Now, on to other business. Tonight, we will have a double mian event. That's right, two main events for the price of one! And both of them will have consiquences (can't spell that) for these... and presenting the objects of desire themselves... Birmingham City Manager himself, Steve Bruce!" The crowd pops as "Keep Right On" blasts through the speakers and Bruce walks to the ring, with a sparkling belt on each shoulder, and one round his waist. He unbuckles the belt form his waist, and hands all three belts to CM. He walks out of the arena to more cheers, as a good portion of the crowd sings along to Keep Right On. "Thank you, Steve. These... actually rather heavy belts are the LWF Tag Team titles, and the LWF United Kingdom title!" The crowd cheers yet again at the naming of the belt after their own country. "Tonight, we're going to see if rivals can work together. In the first main event, Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper and Matt and Jeff Hardy will team up to take on CM Punk, Colt Cabana and Jay and Mark Briscoe, with the winning team having the tag titles on the line in their Relentless match! Furthermore, in the second main event, it will be a three way tag team match. Terry Funk & Sabu, vs. Samoa Joe & Umanga (crowd pops for CM's Regal-like mis-pronunciation of Umaga) vs The artists formerly known as The World's Greatest Tag Team, Haas and Benjamin. The winning team will have their match as the UK title match!" With these announcements, Strike goes to commercial.

To be continued...

A.C.W. presents: "Deadly Games"
The following matches have been confirmed.

A.C.W. World Heavyweight Championship Tournament:
Deadly Games Tournament: Semi-Finals: Triple H. v. Scott Steiner
Background: Scott Steiner defeated the Big Show, with Lex Luger's debut in A.C.W. to find his way into the Final Four of the Superstars who'll compete for the A.C.W. World Heavyweight Championship.

Deadly Games Tournament: Semi-Finals: Chris Benoit v. Batista
Background: Selected as two of the four best athletes on the roster, available. After this match, one will get the ultimate chance to become the first World Champion for A.C.W.

6 Man Anything Goes Tag Team Elimination: Sid Vicious & America's Most Wanted v. Vader & the Impact Players --------- (If Sid's team wins, he gets 5 minutes in the ring, alone, with Mr. McMahon)
Background: After Sid turned against Mr. McMahon, its been nothing but chaos, as McMahon brought in Vader & the Impact Players to reform the Corp. & make Sid's life a living hell. Added on to the fact that he then traded Rob Van Dam & Sabu away, leaving Sid with no option.. that is until America's Most Wanted came over, off the same trade & sided with Sid. - The final decision by the Board of Directors has determined that if Sid's team wins, Mr. McMahon will have to face the monster he created, in Sid Vicious.

Grudge Match: The Big Show v. Lex Luger
Background: Once upon a time, these two were former Tag Team Champions. But that isn't how Lex Luger seen it on his debut, when he cost Big Show a chance to become the World Champion. Now, these two will fight in a grudge match to prove which was the better of the team.

#1. Contender's/contract at the top: Tag Team Ladder Match: The Dudley Boyz v. John Morrison & Kenny Dykstra
Background: If theres one thing A.C.W. isn't short on, its Tag Teams. After Joey Mercury failed a talent test. (proving he has none) John Morrison asked for Dykstra to replace him. The Dudleyz have proven themselves in Ladder matches, but Morrison & Dykstra are looking to make a name for themselves against one of the best Tag Teams in wrestling history.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
JUST ANNOUNCED:

#1. Contender's Match: Shawn Michaels v. Kane
Background: Both men fell just short of becoming options for the World Heavyweight Tournament. Each with their own opinion, they have decided to find out who should be considered the Number One contender for a shot at the first-ever World Champion.

Texas Death Match: Ric Flair v. Dustin Rhodes
Background: Dustin Rhodes feels screwed by Mr. McMahon, after attempting to debut him as Goldust. After Rhodes went off on the history of his Family, Ric Flair decided to find out if the Grandson of a Plumber, & the son of the American Dream can live up to what his Father was capable of.. against the Dirtiest Player in the Game. Its Flair v. the second Generation, will it be as great as the Flair/Dusty feud?

Are we officially now writing out the entire match, to each one? Or are we just writing how each match ends? I'm confused. I originally thought we weren't writing out the matches.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with it.. but I need to know. I haven't even started on writing. If writing the end is all, then I can have it up within 5 hours. If writing the entire match is what we're doing.. I'll need a whole day.

THe WHoLe FuCKiN SHoW
09-07-2007, 05:44 PM
im pretty sure we're just writing a description of each match. the high points, the epic spots, match-changing events, the important stuff and then the end of course. a descriptive summary that i believe mr sam should be about 250 words each match. i could be wrong tho. u gotta check it with him.

Nice lead up SHoW, but just out of curiousity.. you realize our "Supercards" are due by Sunday.. which is 'technically' 2 days away, not 6.. lol

I'll post my Supercard within minutes, or hours, depending on how long I have to type. I'm just doing the "ending" to matches. I hope it still gets good reviews.

Honestly, H.B.K. doesn't have a huge role in this show. If I make it to the next rounds he'll make an impact, but this show he's fighting Kane in more or less a filler match.

A.C.W. presents: "Deadly Games" Part One

Match Ending: Flair is a bloody mess, as he locks in the figure four on Dustin. The official asks Rhodes if he wants to quit. Rhodes yells no, as he fights to get to the ropes. Rhodes grabs the ropes, as the official states he can't break due to the match stipulation. Rhodes pulls himself, along with Flair under the bottom ropes & to the floor, breaking the hold. Flair gets to his feet, as Rhodes can't even stand, clutching his knee.

Flair yells at Rhodes, something about "time to learn respect!" Flair reaches under the ring & grabs a lead pipe, as he struts toward Rhodes, who is crawling away, Flair quickly steps on Rhodes' foot, stopping him from crawling. Flair raises the pipe in the air, as Rhodes throws salt/sand from underneath the ring into Flair's eyes. Flair instantly drops the pipe, & falls to the ground, holding his eyes.

Rhodes gets up, grabs the pipe & takes a violent swing at Flair's head, knocking him out. As Rhodes covers Flair, the official slides out of the ring to count. 1................................................. . 2.................................... Flair somehow manages to get a shoulder up. Rhodes grabs Flair's bloody hair, as he pulls him up & shoves him back into the ring. Rhodes slides into the ring, as he pulls Flair up, Rhodes picks up the pipe that he sat on the apron, only to swing at Flair, who ducks down & grabs Rhodes' crotch. Rhodes drops the pipe, as Flair low blow's Rhodes 3 consecutive times. Flair gets to his feet, dances around, then picks the ring bell up, that'd been laying in the ring.
Flair swings at Rhodes, who ducks outta the way. Flair turns as Rhodes delivers a kick straight to the crotch of Flair, Flair drops the ring bell, as Rhodes goes to the turnbuckle, climbs up & delivers a 2nd turnbuckle bulldog to Flair, who's face comes down directly on the ring bell. Rhodes rolls Flair over, & makes the cover. 1................................................. ........... 2................................................. .... 3!!!!

2. #1. Contender's Match: Shawn Michaels v. Kane
Background: Both men fell just short of becoming options for the World Heavyweight Tournament. Each with their own opinion, they have decided to find out who should be considered the Number One contender for a shot at the first-ever World Champion.

Match Ending: Kane is down on the mat, as H.B.K. signals for the match to be over with some Sweet Chin Music. Kane sits up, as he quickly gets to his feet, only to turn as H.B.K. attempts a Superkick that is quickly blocked. Kane spins Michaels around, as he grabs him by the throat & delivers a monsterous Chokeslam!!! Kane covers H.B.K. 1................................................. . 2............................... H.B.K. kicks out, as Kane can't believe it. Kane signals for another Chokeslam, as Michaels gets to his feet. Kane quickly grabs him by the throat & lifts once more. This time, Michaels counters into a DDT, as both men lay on the mat.

H.B.K. suddenly gets his second wind, as he nips up, only for Kane to sit up almost instantly following that. H.B.K. runs at Kane, who attempts a clothesline that H.B.K. ducks, continuing to run the ropes.. Kane attempts another clothesline, once again, Michaels ducking out of the way. As Kane turns around, he's met by a flying forearm by H.B.K. who as soon as he hits the mat, nips back up again.

Kane attempts to sit up, but can't quite do it, as he falls back down. H.B.K. goes to the top, only to leap off & deliver his elbow drop. H.B.K., instead of going for a cover signals for another attempt with some Sweet Chin Music. Kane slowly gets up, as Michaels attempts another Superkick.. Kane ducks, Michaels turns, Kane attempts a clothesline, Michaels ducks, Kane turns, Michaels delivers a Superkick right on the mouth, as Kane & Michaels both fall.. with H.B.K. on top of Kane.. cover, 1............................................. 2.......................................... 3!!!! Shawn Michaels wins the match & becomes the number one contender, for whomever wins the Championship!

Match Ending: Big Show has had his way with Lex almost the entire match, as he whips him into the ropes, Luger bounces off & back into Big Show's boot. Show calls for the match to end, as he raises his hand signaling for the Show-Stopper. Show clutches Luger around the neck & lifts him up off the ground. Luger, with all he has punches Show a few times to get the grip released. Luger bounces off the ropes, as he attempts a clothesline that barely knocks the Big Show back. Luger again tries it, as it has the same effect, barely anything. Luger tries a 3rd time, as Show attempts a clothesline, Luger ducks underneath & bounces off the far side ropes, as Show turns around, Luger soars through the air & takes the Big Show off his feet with a flying forearm.

Luger leaps up, as he motions for the Torture Rack! Show is slowly getting to his feet, as Luger attempts to pick the Giant up. Show elbows Luger in the jaw, which not only stops the lift attempt, but causes Luger to stumble backwards into the near corner. Show rushes at Luger, who moves outta the way causing Show to leap at the turnbuckle, planting himself a-top it. Luger gets underneath the proun Giant, as he uses Show being leveled by the top ropes to his advantage, lifting him up into the Torture Rack. Show yells & motions to stop the match, as he submits in pain!! Lex Luger wins!!

Match Ending: Earlier in the match there were several high spots, including the Dudleyz doing the "Wasssupp" off the top of a ladder to Dykstra. Morrison hitting his finisher off two ladders on Bubba Ray. Morrison & Dykstra hitting a leg drop/body splash combo on both Dudleyz, through 4 tables.. & thats where we pick it up, all four men down, but slowly getting back up & to the ring.

Dykstra slides into the ring, as he slowly starts to climb the ladder set up in the ring. Bubba Ray slides in behind him, as Morrison & D-Von are still barely moving. Bubba sets up a ladder next to Dykstra's, only to climb up behind him & hit the Bubba Bomb off the ladder!!! Morrison climbs into the ring, as he goes right past both Bubba & Kenny, positioning a ladder & climbing up himself.

D-Von slides in & positions another ladder, similar to how Bubba did with Dkystra. D-Von climbs up behind Morrison, as Bubba then gets to his feet, kicking Kenny out of the ring, then proceeds to set up a ladder beside D-Von's. (3 ladder side-by-side) Bubba climbs up, as Morrison attempts punching D-Von, only for D-Von to counter into a top of the ladder, 3-D ON MORRISON!!!!! The crowd goes insane, as all 3 men are down, but the ladder's remain standing.

Suddenly, as everyone assumes noone will get up soon, Dykstra is up on the apron. D-Von & Bubba attempt rushing at him, but Dyksta spring-boards up onto the ropes & over both Dudleyz, onto the ladder. As both Dudleyz fall to the floor, Dykstra climbs as quickly as his broken body can get him to the top, grabbing the contract/clip-board & winning himself & Morrison the match!!!

A.C.W. presents: "Deadly Games" Part Two

5. 6 Man Anything Goes Tag Team Elimination: Sid Vicious & America's Most Wanted v.

Match Ending: Lance Storm, Justin Credible, & Chris Harris have been eliminated. The remaining superstars are Sid Vicious, James Storm against Vader... Sid & Vader are going at it in the ring, as Mr. McMahon is yelling at Vader to not fail him. Vader whips Sid to the ropes, Sid reverses Vader into the ropes, as Vader bounces off he goes for a clothesline. Sid ducks the clothesline, as Vader turns around, Sid grabs him by the throw & lifts him up, only to slam him back down with the Chokeslam! Mr. McMahon jumps up onto the apron, as the official turns his attention away from Sid's cover on Vader to get McMahon down.

James Storm leaps down off the apron, as he picks up his beer bottle & yells for Sid to lift Vader up. Sid shakes his head no, as he continues yelling for the official to turn & make the count. Storm slides into the ring, then suddenly smashes the beer bottle over SID'S HEAD?!?!?! Storm drags Sid to the corner, as he then slides out of the ring & throws his arms toward the ring. Vader slowly gets up, as he sees Sid laid out. McMahon gets down, as Vader climbs the turnbuckle & delivers a Vader Bomb. The official counts. 1.................... 2.......................... 3!! Sid has been eliminated, thus leaving Vader v. James Storm, who has walked out of the match & to the back. The official has no choice but to call for the bell, as he raises Vader's hand. Sid is left in a puddle of blood, from the shattered beer bottle.

6. Deadly Games Tournament: Semi-Finals: Chris Benoit v. Batista
Background: Selected as two of the four best athletes on the roster, available. After this match, one will get the ultimate chance to become the first World Champion for A.C.W.

Match Ending: Batista hits the spinebuster, as he hops back up & signals for the match to end. Suddenly, Chris Harris of A.M.W. rushes out & jumps up on the apron to get the officials attention. Batista ignores Harris & sets Benoit up for the 'Batista-Bomb.' James Storm jumps the guardrail on the opposite side of the ring, slides in behind Batista & blasts him in the back of the head with a beer bottle. Batista falls backwards, with Benoit falling down across him for the cover. Storm quickly exits the ring, as he ducks down below the apron. Harris jumps off the apron as well, as the official turns to make the count. 1.......................................... 2....................................... 3!! Chris Benoit advances to the finals, as A.M.W. enter the ring & help Benoit out?!

Match Ending: Ref. is out. Steiner sets Triple H. up for a top rope Frankensteiner, Triple H. low blows Steiner, who falls outside the ring, to the ground. Triple H. rolls out of the ring, as he starts looking under the ring, only to pull out his trademark sledgehammer. The crowd goes crazy, as Steiner backs away, holding his hand up toward The Game. Triple H. raises the hammer, as Steiner quickly kicks Triple H. in the crotch, causing him to not only drop the hammer, but fall to the ground himself in tremendous pain.
Steiner rolls Triple H. back in the ring, then grabs the hammer & slides in behind him. Steiner locks in the 'Steiner-Recliner' with the sledgehammer placed below Triple H's throat, choking him extra hard. The official begins to stir, as Steiner quickly tosses the hammer outside the ring, then goes for a cover. The official slowly slides over to make the count.. 1................................................. .. 2...............................................

Triple H. with all he had left kicks out, barely. Steiner can't believe it, as he goes to lock in the Recliner again, this time, Triple H. counters by tripping Steiner up. As both men get to their feet, Steiner goes for a punch, but its countered & Triple H. sends a punch back. Steiner charges for a clothesline, but Triple H. ducks. As Steiner turns, Triple H. kicks Steiner & nails him with the 'Pedigree!' The count.. 1.................................... 2................................... 3!!! Triple H. advances to the finals.

North American Independent Championship Wrestling
Presents:

OriGinS

Fireworks explode in the Staples Centre as the beginning of Origins is signalled. The camera goes over to the two commentators, Mike Tenay and his broadcast partner, NAICW General Manager and owner, Paul Heyman. Both look excited at the prospect of the history that will soon be made this very evening.

Mike Tenay:
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to NAICW Origins, the first of what will surely be many of fantastic monthly Pay-Per-Views. Paul, if there’s one thing I believe in, it’s “start as you mean to go on”.

Paul Heyman:
“You got that right, “Professor”. Tonight we will have everything you could possibly want in a Pay-Per-View. But firstly, we have NAICW’s first ever Pay-Per-View match - a man many claim to be the best pure wrestler in the world, Bryan Danielson, takes on the returning “World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock in Round One of the tournament to name the NAICW World Heavyweight Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy!”

Match 1:
World Title Tournament
Round 1, Match 1

Bryan Danielson vs. Ken Shamrock

These two took each other to the absolute limit in what would soon prove to be a classic. Their similar, yet strangely different styles surprisingly worked well together to create a hard-fought, back-and-forth match. Danielson was able to shake off many of Shamrock’s hard strikes, and managed to turn the match into a mat-based contest, where, naturally, he dominated. Shamrock, however, managed to keep in it with a few shocking reversals. Currently, he has Danielson in the Ankle Lock, one of his signature manoeuvres. Danielson is trying to conceal the extreme pain he is being subjected too, but cannot merely just grin and bear it as he roars with pain. He manages push up with his own body weight, forcing Shamrock to his feet, before rolling under himself, sending Shamrock into the turnbuckle. The American Dragon stalks behind his stumbling prey on just one functional leg, before throwing whatever force he has left behind a vicious German Suplex, halting in a pin with a bridge. Shamrock’s body is completely limp, and it appears as if he is completely unconscious from the brutal punishment his head has received in this match. Because of this, he is unable to kick out, leading to a sweat-drenched Danielson standing over him, the crowd humming along to the victorious notes of “The Final Countdown”.

Bryan Danielson wins via pinfall and proceeds onto Round 2 at NAICW’s second PPV, Best Of The Best.

Match 2:
World Title Tournament
Round 1, Match 2

Mike Awesome vs. Homicide

Many may have thought that the relatively small Homicide would have trouble keeping in this one, that he may be tossed around by the larger, more powerful, more ferocious Awesome. This wasn’t the case as Homicide used his high-flying and mat-based skills to keep his opponent’s power in check. In fact, he even managed to successfully bust Awesome open after an incredible number of collisions with the ring post, but had the same done to him. As the match begins to come to an end, both wrestlers are stumbling to their feet, both looking at each other in “How are you still standing!?” amazement. Homicide uses his superior speed to rush over to Awesome and attempt to keep him down with a number of straight strikes, which the referee rightfully warns him about. Out of nowhere, Awesome hits Homicide with a thunderous clothesline before making his way to the outside and bringing in the steel steps. He gets Homicide in position and signals for the Awesome bomb, which the referee tries to dissuade, warning that it will end in a disqualification. It matters not, however, as Awesome is suddenly subject to a low blow. Amazingly, Homicide hooks his opponent up in the Gringo Killah, and slams him down on the steel steps. Awesome drops like a fly and remains motionless on the canvas as Homicide celebrates a supposed victory. The referee frantically calls for the bell as paramedics begin to come to Awesome’s aid.

Mike Awesome wins via disqualification and proceeds onto Round 2.

Match 3:
World Title Tournament
Round 1, Match 3

Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle

A fairly by-the-numbers crowd pleaser, featuring much back and forth action, but with Angle impressing overall. Surprisingly, it has been Jarrett using the good majority of underhand tactics, something that both wrestlers are specialised in. Angle has pleased the crowd mostly with his technical skills and one incident involving sixteen German suplexes in a row, although Jarrett has pulled out a fair few surprised, not all of them being illegal. As we join them Jarrett is in the centere of the ring screaming for his life as Angle applies the ankle lock. For the second time during the night, however, he manages to roll underneath his own body, sending Angle into the corner before stumbling backwards looking dumbfounded. Jarrett grabs him and looks to hit the stroke, but Angle slide out of backwards and hit’s a successful Angle slam, proceeding a well-deserved three count. After the match, both wrestlers shake hands and hug, celebrating the great show they’ve just put on. The forever untrustworthy Jarrett, however, has a surprise for the Olympic Hero in the form of a guitar, and ultimately leaves the supposed “victor” in a pile of splintered wood.

Kurt Angle wins via pinfall and proceeds onto Round 2.

Match 4:
Last Man Standing

Nigel McGuinness vs. Abyss

A surprisingly well-worked match, with a good mixture of pure and hardcore wrestling. McGuinness took much of the punishment in this match, but refused to stay down and often gave Abyss back what he’d dished out. Drawing to the end, McGuinness has the monster on the back foot, bouncing backwards and forwards from the ropes, attempting to take his opponent down with lariats. So far, despite being bloodied and battered, Abyss’ sheer sense of will hasn’t allowed him to drop to the floor. He has, however, backed up so he is just in front of a pile of glass and tacks as McGuinness charges forward with a powerful lariat waiting. Suddenly, Abyss catches him in a Black Hole slam, but McGuinness, instead if being slammed into the mixture, manages to land on his feet and low blows the monster before grabbing a nearby chair and handing it to him. Thinking little about his own wellbeing, he runs forward and meets the chair with a head butt, sending Abyss into the tacks and glass, but Nigel onto the clear canvas beside him. The referee begins to count. As the count approaches 9, both begin to stir. Abyss is not up as the count hits ten, but McGuinness has managed to roll to the outside and stay on his feet for the second necessary before collapsing, exhausted.

Nigel McGuinness wins and will receive a “special reward” from Paul Heyman for his efforts.

Match 5:
World Title Tournament
Round 1, Match 4

The Rock vs. The Undertaker

This match of epic, legendary proportions received a standing ovation nearly throughout, and deservedly so. For what it lacked in scientific wrestling, it made up for in dramatics and ring psychology. Despite having it all on the line, and hitting their opponent with all they had, both treated each other with respect and played along with the rules, much to the crowd’s joy. The crowd is wired more than ever as Taker looks to choke slam Rock, but the latter elbows his way out of it and bounces against the ropes, only to be twisted into position for a tombstone piledriver. The Rock reverses it and hits a tombstone of his own, before signaling for the people’s elbow. Just before delivery, the Undertaker sits up, but Rock kicks him back down and delivers the elbow. Amazingly, it’s only good for the longest two in history. The Rock raises Taker to his feet but is caught by the throat and tossed to the floor with a vicious choke slam. The Undertaker puts the Rock in pinning position, but again it is only good for a long two. Taker raises Rock his feet, as the announcer announces there is “one minute remaining”. Taker begins to strike at The Rock, but the Rock hooks and delivers the rock bottom out of nowhere. “One… two… thr--” Taker kicks out! Rock pulls him to his feet but receives a sudden kick to the gut. The Undertaker uses all he has left to deliver a devastating last ride. “One… two…” “The time limit has expired! As a result, both competitors advance into the next round.”

Draw via time-out, both proceed onto Round 2.

Match 6:
Tag Team Title Match

The British Bulldogs vs. AJ Styles & Austin Aries vs. Harlem Heat

A crowded match, to say the least. Each team used their unique kind of athleticism to gain the upper hand at one time or another. Styles and Aries’ inexperience as a team cost them at times, but their natural skill and competitiveness helped them to keep their heads above water. Harlem Heat foolishly focused most of their time on the Bulldogs, and were held off by their stubbornness and unwillingness to give in, leaving themselves susceptible to the high-impact, speed-based moves of this match’s “odd couple”. Currently, Davey Boy Smith has his hands full with both members of Harlem Heat on the outside as Austin Aries is behind a recovering AJ Styles and the Dynamite Kid prepares to launch an airborne attack against Booker and Stevie. Aries tries to lift AJ to his feet but clearly he has surprised his partner as he soon plays victim to a pele kick. Styles holds his head in regret but manages to think quickly, taking down the Kid on the corner and flinging himself over the ropes with a shooting Styles press, taking out three quarters of his opponents in one movement. Despite thinking things through quickly, it appears he didn’t think them through very well, as Billington is suddenly on his feet, delivering a flying head butt. The Brit covers for the three, and the two defeated teams stumble off, arguing with each other, as The British Bulldogs celebrate their victory in the ring.

The British Bulldogs win via pinfall and become the first ever NAICW Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.

Match 7:
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match

Edge vs. Christian Cage

In this match, the opponents, despite being brothers and former tag team partners, showed each other absolutely no respect. Then again, this is a TLC match, where you are expected to take every advantage available, it’s sink or swim. Amazingly, both have managed to get up from ladder and chair strikes, and being put through tables in order to prevent from winning the briefcase (which contains a mystery prize) at the top of the ladder. The debris surrounding the ring as the two climb separate ladders is truly astounding. Both are dripping with sweat, blood and - quite probably - tears of anger and frustration. Finally, they make it the top of their respective ladder and begin striking each other. Christian manages to subdue Edge momentarily by slamming his already battered head on the top of his ladder, but is still prevented from winning the match by his brother. The two shove each other ladders aside, but both manage to keep their balance on the ropes, pushing themselves back upright. Christian, however, has grabbed a steel chair that was tangled in the ropes and, as the rises, he manages to catch Edge’s head between it and the ladder. Edge loses balance and topples over the ropes and onto a ladder topping a wooden table, which collapses immediately. Cage grabs the briefcase and is victorious. After the match, the brothers are seen helping each other to the back, seemingly having earned mutual respect.

Christian Cage wins by capturing the briefcase and is entitled to the mystery prize inside it.

Main Event:
Pure Title, 60 Minute Ultimate Submission Match

Taz vs. Low Ki

These two warriors showed no mercy in this match, doing all they could to cause the utmost damage on their opponents. Low Ki managed to avoid the tazmission for a while, but was still battered by the wide array of suplexes Taz had up his sleeves, or lack thereof. Not that Low Ki was dominated, far from it, he had given as much as he had taken, perhaps more so, and Taz’s toughness had definitely been seriously dented by Ki’s wide array of kicks and strikes. Ultimately, he had failed to do what he did best, keep his opponent grounded, and he was punished heavily for it. Finally, as the clock begins to tick down to sixty minutes and neither man has scored any points, Taz locks in the tazmission. Ki begins screaming, but refuses to tap for a number of minutes, despite being almost completely spent. He manages to continually head butt Taz with the back of his head, sending him stumbling backwards. Using his incredible athleticism, he climbs ontop of Taz and locks in the head scissors arm bar. Despite being in clearly excruciating pain, Taz remains standing. It is almost two minutes before he falls to his knees, and it appears as if he is about to black out. With one final rush of energy he manages to toss Low Ki off an over the ropes, slowly following him to the outside. The two exchange strikes on the outside, but Low Ki sends Taz to the floor with a rolling kick, before climbing the the top rope back on the inside. To everyone’s amazement, he shoots off at Taz with an incredible phoenix splash. Several moments later, Ki slides Taz into the ring and begins to deliver chop after chop after chop in the corner, before setting Taz up on the top of the ring post. He backs into the other corner before cart wheeling into the corner and delivering a high kick. The human suplex machine drops and lands awkwardly on his head. The referee runs over and checks on him, before calling for the bell. Quickly, he speaks to the announcer, who declares, “as a result of knock out, the winner, and new NAICW Pure Champion, LOW! KIII!”. Low Ki celebrates with the belt as everyone in the arena, including Paul Heyman and Mike Tenay, get to their feet and applaud.

Low Ki wins via knock out and becomes the first ever NAICW Pure Champion.

LWF Relentless

LWF UK Title No. 1 Contender’s Match: Charlie Haas vs. Shelton Benjamin

In a hard fought and surprisingly brutal match, Shelton Benjamin rips into Charlie Haas for the beating that he received on LWF Strike. Haas tries to come back, and ultimately takes advantage of a mistake by Benjamin. Shelton, anger taking control, attempts his famous jump from the ring floor to the top rope, but slips. His foot comes off the top rope, and he lands on the back of his head. Haas drags Benjamin backwards into the centre of the ring, and locks in the Haas of Pain! Shelton is forced to submit by the pain in the back of his neck.

Winner: Charlie Haas

After the match, Haas grabs Shelton, and throws him over the top rope. He rips the cover and monitors from the Spanish announce table, and hits a vicious piledriver on top of the table!

Commercial

LWF Tag Title No. 1 Contender’s Match: 2nd City Saints vs. Briscoe Brothers

The match is purely a showing of amazing technical skill. There is a 20 minute time limit on the match. At 19:48, CM Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice on Jay Briscoe. Jay tries to pull himself towards the ropes. He can’t get there, and his hand hits the mat – just as the bell rings, and Lillian announces that the match’s time limit is up. Confusion reigns in the ring – did he tap, or is it a draw? The referee ultimately has to make a decision, and he says it’s a draw!

LWF UK Title Streetfight: Samoa Joe vs. Umaga vs. Super Crazy

Crazy is eliminated early on, as Umaga simply wrecks him, nearly caving his head in with a chair. Joe and Umaga battle ferociously, going through the crowd, back to the ring, smashing into the barrier, generally wrecking everything in sight. Eventually, they find themselves back in the ring. Umaga takes Joe down, and scoops up a steel chair. Joe stands, and Umaga smashes the chair into his skull! Umaga then heads out to the apron. He climbs to the top rope, looking for the big splash. He reaches the top rope – and Super Crazy hits him in the leg with a steel bar! Umaga falls sideways, and the front 3 rows of chairs fall over from the resulting shockwave. Crazy hops up to the top rope. Joe suddenly rolls to his feet, and grabs Crazy. He scoops him off the top rope, walks to the centre of the ring, and nails a devastating Muscle Buster onto a steel chair! Umaga slides back into the ring, somehow recovered. Joe is knocked down by a ferocious kick to the jaw. Umaga sets a table up in the corner, and places Joe seated against the table. He runs towards the table. Just as he turns to deliver the running ass-to-the-face move he does with frightening power, Joe slides out of the ring. Umaga crashes through the table! Joe slips back into the ring, and grabs Umaga. He then shows simply amazing strength by hitting the Coquina-Plex on Umaga! He covers Umaga, and gets the 1-2-3!

Winner and new UK Champion: Samoa Joe

Steel Cage Tag Team Title Match: The Hardyz vs. Triple X

The match is fast paced and upbeat. During the match, Jeff Hardy attempts to escape, but Daniels tries to pull him back. Jeff spins round on the top rope, sits in the corner of the cage, and kicks out at Daniels. Daniels dodges the kick, holds Jeff’s foot to prevent escape. Suddenly, Skipper makes it to the top of the cage, and stands. The crowd roars in anticipation. Skipper, happy with the wide girders on top of the 4-Sided cage, calmly walks towards Jeff. He goes for the Cagewalkrana, but Jeff hold him in position! Matt flies in with a clothesline, sending Daniels and himself down. Jeff stands on the top rope, and flies off, nailing a sit-out powerbomb from the top rope on Skipper! Skipper is completely laid out. Soon, they have Daniels knocked down. Jeff runs him into the side of the cage, and when he staggers backwards, Matt nails the twist of fate! Matt and Jeff start to climb out of opposite corners. Suddenly, they both stand on the top of the cage, turning to face the ring. Matt pulls the V.1 as Jeff shoots the Gunz, and they both jump, nailing the Event OMEGA! (In case you didn’t know, that’s their Leg Drop/Splash combination). Jeff, the splash half of the move, keeps the cover, and the 1-2-3!

Barbed Wire Massacre: Sabu vs. Terry Funk

Sabu is busted up quick in this match. Funk soon follows however, and before long both are bloody messes. Funk whips Sabu into the wire, which clings to the skin of Sabu. Funk pulls Sabu off the wire, and hoists him up over his head. He goes to drop Sabu gut-first across the top of the wire, but Sabu turns right around, landing on his feet on the floor. He scoops up a barb-wire chair, and throws it at Funk, smacking him right in the face! Funk falls backwards, the chair clinging to his face for a second before dropping. Sabu grabs a normal chair from under the ring, and throws it over the ropes. He hops up onto the apron, using gaps between the barbs of the ropes. He tests how tight the wire is, smiles, and drops back to the floor, before sliding under the wire. He sets up the chair, before laying the barb-wire one down on the floor. He places Funk face down on the wire. He turns his back, preparing for the jump ahead. Behind him, Funk rises to his feet with the barbed wire chair in hand. Sabu runs, jumps off the chair, onto the wire. He balances, and twists as he jumps. He flies forwards, right into a face full of barb-wire chair! Sabu drops, and as he falls, his skin hangs horrifically from the wire wrapped round the chair. Funk grabs Sabu, lifts him up, and piledrives him right onto the barb-wire chair! Funk covers Sabu and gets the three!

Winner: Terry Funk

No Disqualifications: Bam Bam Bigelow w/ Shane McMahon vs. Judas Mesias w/ James Mitchell

No part of the match resembles wrestling, as these two big guys slug it out. Bigelow gets the better part of the early match, but then loses control when he misses a big clothesline and tumbles over the top rope. Mesias grabs him and shoves him back under the ropes. Mesias doesn’t let Bigelow back to his feet, punishing him with stomps and kicks. Eventually, Bigelow fights him off and pulls himself up in the corner. He grabs Mesias and throws him back into the corner. He runs up, and splashes him in the corner! Mesias crumples to the floor. Bigelow drabs him into position, and climbs to the top rope! The crowd cheers in anticipation of the Bigelowsault. Suddenly, Mesias rolls backwards and stands. Shane yells to Bigelow. As it turns out, that was the worst possible decision he could have made, and could well be the last one he does make! Bigelow tries to stop himself, screws up and drops down onto his back on the canvas. Mesias drags him backwards, and grabs Bigelow’s legs. He turns him with difficulty, and latches in the La Patriota! Shane O’Mac scrambles into the ring, but Mesias lets go of the hold, grabs McMahon and spinebusters him right into the mat! He turns, and locks in the La Patriota again. Suddenly, Mitchell slips into the ring, and smashes his cane over the head of Mesias! Bigelow struggles to his feet, grabs Mesias, and hits him with Greetings from Asbury Park! Bigelow makes the cover, and gets the one two three!

Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow

New LWF General Manager: Shane McMahon

Mitchell laughs crazily, as he walks from the arena. The entire building is stunned – why did he screw his own guy, and lose himself a job?

Break

LWF Championship Match: RVD vs. Randy Orton vs. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka

The match is fast paced. Orton seems to be targeting Snuka, keeping with his Legend Killer persona. As we join the match, RVD is down from a DDT, and Snuka is ascending to the top rope. Suddenly, Orton jumps up onto the apron, and knocks Snuka flying into the ring. Snuka lands badly, coming down on the back of his head. Orton is straight into the ring, and he’s looking to set up for the RKO. Snuka rises shakily, and Orton jumps up as he turns. Snuka somehow finds the where-with-all to push Orton forwards – right into a kick to the jaw from RVD! Van Dam delivers a swift boot to the gut of Snuka, and tosses him between the ropes and out of the ring. He springs up to the top rope, and delivers the Five Star Frog Splash! He covers Orton, and gets the 1-2-3!

Winner and NEW Lightning Wrestling Federation Champion: Rob Van Dam

RVD celebrates with the belt. As he leaves the arena, Orton pulls himself to his feet. He looks enraged – and he jumps out of the ring. He grabs Snuka, and delivers a sick RKO on the floor! He turns Snuka over, and runs up, delivering the sick punt! Snuka’s eyes are glazed over. Orton has a freaky, sadistic look on his face as the show’s lights go down…

I doubt he meant Sunday, tomorrow. He probably meant next Sunday, giving everyone a week.

And Sly, I think the general rule was you could draft 20, then trade within those 20.. but once we started our shows.. we couldn't drop & pick up different wrestlers. I may be wrong, but Mr. Sam hasn't posted otherwise about it.

I'm also assuming Sam may start another draft league after this one, so Sly would be a top choice to be the first to join it. He seems like he's got some major ideas working.

But, the list of great wrestlers that were left off the rosters for some of the garbage that are on is simply astounding.

I give you more than enough credit on listing some of wrestling's all-time greats. But I have to agree with SHoW in what he said. You have to entertain the critics, & only a handful off that list.. (Brian Pillman, Jerry Lawler, Ricky Steamboat.. just to name a few) would make anyone give you a vote.

Now, I couldn't help but notice you put JIMMY HART in that list. He without a doubt, was one of the best, if not THE best, managers in all of wrestling.. but when you get 20 picks.. you don't blow one on a manager with limited wrestling ability.

Jimmy Hart in wrestling drafts like this one, have about as much stock as referee's in nfl fantasy drafts.. sure, you have some great refs making calls.. but picking one won't help earn you points/votes.

I have to say i love what everyone is doing so far and wish i could have gotten in on this.
On that list of guys not picked I agree some would not make for good reading in matches but I am suprised no one mentioned either Muta or Liger as if you cant make an enetertaing match with those two then. you havent seen them wrestle.

ur not putting on a decent show with any of those guys those tho. certainly pillman was a top choice. along wit rick rude n and dibiase n the snake but in this day n age its all about performance and none of those guys would satisfy the criteria.

No offense, and I have no idea who these supposed "critics" are, but if you think those guys on my long list are not entertaining, then I truly feel sorry for you. Andre the Giant wasn't entertaining? Arn Anderson? Bruiser Brody? Jushin Liger? Rock N' Roll Express? Ted DiBiase? I honestly don't understand how you can say those guys are not entertaining.

I am suprised no one mentioned either Muta or Liger as if you cant make an enetertaing match with those two then. you havent seen them wrestle.

Absolutely. You can have a lot of great matches with a lot of names off that list. But what SHoW & myself were pointing out is, Sly said some of our picks were garbage over those names not picked. And he's true to the degree that wrestlers like.. Brain Pillman, Andre the Giant & Ricky 'the Dragon' Steamboat are far better then the likes of.. Kenny Dykstra, Justin Credible, or even Lex Luger or Dustin Rhodes. (just to use my list)

However.. with exception of a very slim few.. noone voting on entertaining matches is going to remember 50% or more of his guys, & even then.. when you're thinking of wrestling now, you're thinking of high spots & a more entertaining side of things.. as opposed to then, when it was good old fashioned, hard nosed wrestling.

Now then, The Great Muta & Liger were both on my list.. as were a few others off his list. But I went with the picks I had, because of entertainment value.. not wrestling value. And maybe to even MY dismay, thats why I only got 4 votes.

As far as that goes, if I get eliminated I'm happy that I got included, but I wonder who voted for who.. as Mr. Sam is highly known on this board, as compared to someone like myself. And no, I'm not saying my show wasn't half of what his was.. but I'm merely asking, did people vote purely on the shows written out & the matches made.. or did they vote slightly for who they knew of? Which brings me to Sly joining.. yes, I definately wanna see what he's got.. but it wouldn't shock me if he suddenly won everything, based on who he is to begin with. Sorry.. not meaning to offend anyone, its just how I feel.

Andre the Giant wasn't entertaining? Arn Anderson? Bruiser Brody? Jushin Liger? Rock N' Roll Express? Ted DiBiase? I honestly don't understand how you can say those guys are not entertaining.

See, thats just it.. I'm not disagreeing with you. In their day, they were all highly entertaining, otherwise they wouldn't be remembered by us, today. But what I am saying is.. if you match someone like.. Andre the Giant up against The Big Show.. you basically have old vs. new. Sure, Andre is a legend, but he never went up to the top turnbuckle. He never got superplexed off the top ropes. And that shit is unbelieveable to see. Andre had a very limited moveset compared to that of the Big Show. Again, I'm not saying Show is better.. but I am saying, in today's entertainment world of wrestling.. Big Show would out-weight that of Andre any day, by the ability comparison.

As for Arn Anderson, don't even attempt to hold that against me.. as I thought of him instead of Kenny, so I could run a Horsemen gimmick.. & Arn Anderson is one of the people on your list that makes me regret not picking him. I have nothing & I repeat, NOTHING bad to say about Double A. But that not withstanding.. who's to say people would've enjoyed me putting the Horsemen back together? People dispise Flair in today's world because "he's old & needs to retire." So who's to say I wouldn't of got that reaction, by not thinking of new & original?

Well, keep in mind, I have no idea what one is supposed to do. Do you run a small promotion with the guys? Do you just put together a super dream card? Is there long-term booking? How does it work?

Its basically, one Super Dream Card. But you have to involve overall booking, as you could possibly get to the finals, which would mean you'd have to make up 4-5 Dream cards. Look at Mr. Sam's first show, for example.. he had a tournament to determine a champion, he never determined that Champion.. but thats his selling point to gaining people's votes, to see if they'd care so much to send him to the next round, so they can find out where he's going storyline wise. So basically.. you pick 20 guys, the best you can get. You slap together your first Supershow, you can't use any of the guys more than once in a match.. unless its to interfere. (they can't wrestle more than once per show, but can show up in every match if you want) After you get a card, you write out highlights from each match, with an ending & a winner/loser. Then, you await the voting period & if you get enough votes (as long as you don't come in last) you advance to the next round. (I barely made it)

I'd be interested, I just don't know a) what the rules are and how this is supposed to work and b) if I'll have time.

Rules are above, Mr. Sam can probably explain better. And time wise.. you have a solid week to write out a show.. you don't write EVERYTHING out, just highlights, or endings. Look at our shows to determine how you'd wanna write. I just picked up at the ending of each match & went. Others have thrown highlights from the match into the description. So, Sam says you're in.. pick 20 wrestlers, any that you want.. as long as they aren't currently on a list & slap together a Dream card.

I'd even say, if you're getting added to whats ALREADY going on.. then you may feel slided because you didn't get to draft with us, although your aforementioned list is way more than 20.. you can pick from the wrestlers Colamania had. You MUST pick at least two Tag Teams, thats the only general draft rule.

Actually, Lex Luger and Dustin Rhodes are both damn good picks, if you use them correctly.

I have big plans with Dustin, but regarding Lex Luger.. I drafted him for a one time feud with Big Show & he's since kinda getting lost in the deck.

Just out of curiousity, when did you start watching wrestling?

I started watching in 1993 when my older brother got me addicted. My first p.p.v. was Wrestlemania IX. (9) But to my credit, I've went throughout life since to gather as much knowledge on wrestling's history & its past, including tons of vhs tapes.. to gain as much understanding on everything as I could.

I can see that you seemingly love wrestling's past more than wrestling's present. While I can't say I'm AS entertained by the past with the different old school slow paced matches.. wrestling was a lot more realistic in a lot of ways then. (although they have gotten better with making punches & kicks look real)-(watching the MSG show on Wednesdays is horrible at times with seeing miscues)

And, have you bought either the Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania Anthologys?

I own the complete Royal Rumble Anthology, & I own the 3rd & 4th set (which is 11-20) of Wrestlemania. I have Wrestlemania 7-8, 10 on vhs though. WM 4 was one of my favorites as well, due to the one night tournament. I rented WM 2 & it was so horribly cut up.. (not the tape value either) it looked like someone went through & edited cut scenes in & out of it..

I would think that me being who I am would probably cause voters to NOT vote for me. :D

The man could flat out move. He was doing running clotheslines and dropkicks and all sorts of good stuff.

As for Arn Anderson, don't even attempt to hold that against me.. as I thought of him instead of Kenny, so I could run a Horsemen gimmick.. & Arn Anderson is one of the people on your list that makes me regret not picking him. People dispise Flair in today's world because "he's old & needs to retire." So who's to say I wouldn't of got that reaction, by not thinking of new & original?First, I just want to say that I'm not degrading your list of wrestlers as a whole. I don't even know what your roster is. I just looked at some of the picks, and then some of the ones that weren't on there, and was just dumbfounded.

And, Arn Anderson was much more than just a 4 Horsemen.

If I get time, I'll write one up. Doesn't sound like it takes too much time really.

I'd even say, if you're getting added to whats ALREADY going on.. then you may feel slided because you didn't get to draft with us, although your aforementioned list is way more than 20.. you can pick from the wrestlers Colamania had. You MUST pick at least two Tag Teams, thats the only general draft rule.I wouldn't be any more slighted than someone who picked a team and has already been put out.

Actually, you know, that wouldn't be fair. It wouldn't be fair for me to come in, if someone has already been eliminated. If there's already been 1 elimination, I'll just sit out and wait until next time. I might still write a supercard or something, and just do it for "fun", or practice. But, make sure no votes are counted for me. I can wait until the next one if I want to do it.

So, officially, count me out if someone has already been eliminated. If not, I'll see what I can do.

I do appreciate it though Mrs. Sam...or whatever your name is going to be.

I'm taking it you haven't seen much of Andre in his prime. Back before he wore the single strap over the shoulder look.

The man could flat out move. He was doing running clotheslines and dropkicks and all sorts of good stuff.

I've seen a couple matches of the blueish trunks, man fro look.. lol But I never recall seeing him do a dropkick. Even with the tapes I have, & the fact that any of those things could've been done in W.W.F. I don't recall much of Andre's career.

And, Arn Anderson was much more than just a 4 Horsemen.

Once again, my knowledge of selective wrestlers is only as far as current relation will take them. Anderson is praised (on t.v.) heavily for his work with the 4 Horsemen, not really anything else. I've only seen him wrestle for W.C.W. under the Horsemen, & from older vhs tapes.. with the Brainbusters & Bobby the Brain's Family. I did enjoy his Brainbuster days, from the tapes I have.. & the tapes I've seen.

That does sound fairly interesting.

If I get time, I'll write one up. Doesn't sound like it takes too much time really.

Its like an addiction, once you start.. if you have any type of passion for writing storylines.. you become addicted to wanna continue doing more & more. Time is never an issue, as you can get lost in writing.. at least I have that.

Actually, you know, that wouldn't be fair. It wouldn't be fair for me to come in, if someone has already been eliminated. Our draft league was kinda screwy from the beginning anyways though. We had one guy go to Prison, another not being able to show up to make his picks, & another quit because of arguements. So we started with 8, it dropped to who all was in the original poll, 5, I think & now.. Koalamania/Cola, is eliminated. So by all means.. write for fun & I'm sure you'll do fine.. join if you'd like, or wait until Sam does another one. Either way, I look forward to what you have.

I have big plans with Dustin, but regarding Lex Luger.. I drafted him for a one time feud with Big Show & he's since kinda getting lost in the deck.Well, I don't know what your plans are, or who you got feuding with who, but looking over your roster, I see a LOT of possibilities for The Total Package.

I can see that you seemingly love wrestling's past more than wrestling's present. Not really. I like today's wrestling just fine, except that so many guys get regular air time who don't really understand how to work a match. So many of today's wrestlers seem to abide by the "more flashy moves makes me a better wrestler" philosophy. The ones who are good wrestlers though entertain me just as much as any old school.

I'm just one of the few around here who seem to really appreciate the older school wrestling. Back before everything had to be fast paced and a million moves.

(not the tape value either) it looked like someone went through & edited cut scenes in & out of it..Yeah, the WWF always chopped and edited their old tapes, I guess to have room with good quality. I never bought many tapes.

Have you seen the 1990 Royal Rumble? I love that show.

That not withstanding, you have my respect as well as hundreds more, I'm sure. Therefore, you'd gain a lot of votes.. regardless of your unbridaled passion for John Cena ;)Thanks *insert embarrassed smiley here*

Additionally, you can find yourself the Andre the Giant DVD for pretty cheap these days. It's by no means the best collection they could have put together, but it's pretty fun.

No offense or anything, but your roster pretty much sucked, in my opinion. Obviously, it would depend on how matched you card, but I don't have much hope for it.

The only ones I'd be interested in would be Terry Funk and possibly RVD, simply for brownie points (and yes, I realize the double meaning of that statement). I'm sure you had a vision, but not really one I'd share.

I've decided to sit this one out, although I might post some cards, just to show people you CAN have an entertaining show with these guys.

BREAKING NEWS: A.C.W. World Championship Match - New Contender?!

Ladies & Gentlemen, after A.C.W.'s shocking first p.p.v. "Deadly Games," Ric Flair threw down a challenge to Chris Benoit for his spot in the Championship Finals, against Triple H. Chris Benoit accepted.

Later that same night, Ric Flair defeated Chris Benoit, as America's Most Wanted interfered yet again, but this time accidentally?! cost Benoit his match, as James Storm seemed like he would smash his beer bottle over Ric Flair's head, only for Flair to duck & have Benoit get the unwelcomed refreshment.

Also, on acw.com Triple H. gave his congrats to the Nature Boy, then issued a challenge for the match to be a best 2 outta 3 - stages of hell match. Ric Flair has accepted & the Stipulations for their match will be announced within the week.

As of right now:
A.C.W. World Heavyweight Championship Finals: Best 2 outta 3 Stages of Hell: Triple H. v. Ric Flair

An interesting final note: A letter was sent to the offices of A.C.W. announcing that a major faction would be returning. No names, or word on what faction was announced, but many speculate that it could have something to do with Triple H.???

(Where are we suppose to post our next card - as well as storyline information?!)

A.C.W. presents: "The Quest"

Grudge Match: Scott Steiner v. Big Show
Match Ending: Show walks around the ring, currently holding Steiner like a baby, only to slam him down to the mat. Show points to the turnbuckle, as he begins to climb up, sitting on the top rope. Show dives off, only for Steiner to barely move out of the way, as Show falls to the mat.

Steiner gets to his feet, as he begins kicking Show, only for Show to shove Steiner back & get back to his feet. Steiner & Show exchange punches in the ring, but Show begins to win the slug-fest, only to back Steiner against the ropes. Show goes to whip Steiner, but Steiner reverses it into a belly-to-belly, as the fans go wild. Steiner goes for a cover, 1......................... 2........................ Show kicks out with authority, as he sends Steiner flying up & off. Show begins to get to his feet, as Steiner quickly meets him, delivering a flurry of punches to Show's head, as Show attempts to shove him away, Steiner only comes back, continuing, as he then whips Show into the turnbuckles. Steiner rushes in, only for Show to lift his foot, catching Steiner directly across the face. Show steps across Steiner's chest, as he goes up & over, causing Steiner to rive in pain. Show then grabs Steiner by the throat & jerks him up off the mat, as he signals for the "Show-Stopper!"
Steiner grabs the ropes as Show begins to lift him, as the official tries to get Show to break the grip on Steiner's throat. Show turns his attention to the official, as he shoves him back, only to turn back to Steiner, who delivers a vicious low kick to the groin! Show drops to one knee, as Steiner kicks Show in the face, only to cause Show to slump backwards. Show begins to get to his feet, as Steiner rushes with an attempted clothesline. Show side steps Steiner, as he runs into the official, knocking him out!

Show attempts giving Steiner a boot to his face again, but Steiner blocks it, only to drop down & low blow Show once again, causing Show to crumble. Steiner slides out of the ring, quickly grabbing a steel chair, only to bring it back into the ring & swing violently at Show's head, causing him to completely fall to the mat. Steiner doesn't stop there, as he tosses the chair out of the ring, only to demand the ring announcer give him a camera cable. Steiner wraps the cable around Show's neck, as he locks in the Steiner-Recliner!!!

Show is gasping for air, as he slowly begins to pass out. The official comes to & notices the camera cable around Show's neck, as he calls for the bell! The official has awarded the match to The Big Show, as a result of a DQ, but Steiner refuses to let go. Suddenly, Sid Vicious comes out from the back, as he climbs up onto the ring apron, Steiner lets go & slides out of the ring. Sid stands over a limp Big Show, as more officials rush to aid him. Steiner points at Sid, as the official announcement is made that Show has won via DQ.

#1. Contender's Match: Shawn Michaels v. Batista
Match Ending: H.B.K. nips up, as he's received his second wind. He begins to the get crowd into it again, as he trades punches with Batista. Batista whips H.B.K. to the ropes, only for H.B.K. to leap on the return with a flying forearm! H.B.K. nips up yet again, as Batista gets to his feet, only to be body-slammed back down. H.B.K. climbs the turnbuckles only to leap off, delivering a top rope elbow to Batista. Instead of going for the cover, H.B.K. gets to his feet & signals for some Sweet Chin Music.

H.B.K. loads up in the corner, as Batista slowly gets up. As H.B.K. goes to deliver the kick, Batista blocks it, lifting H.B.K. into & delivering a spine-qwivering spinebuster! Batista gets up, as he looks to have regained his second wind, shaking the top ropes, signaling for a Batista Bomb. Batista loads H.B.K. up in the powerbomb position, as H.B.K. tries desperately to clutch his leg. Batista delivers some stiff elbows to H.B.K.'s back, then lifts him up, only for H.B.K. to begin punching Batista in the face, as Batista stumbles backwards, he bumps the official out of the ring, causing the official to twist his ankle on impact.

Batista slams H.B.K. down in the Batista-Bomb, but the official is out of the ring, clutching his ankle. Batista yells for him to get in & count, but its no good. Suddenly, TRIPLE H?! leaps over the far side barricade with a sledge-hammer & slides in behind Batista. Batista turns to a vicious hammer shot to the ribs, as Batista crumbles to the ground, Triple H. sets him up & delivers a Pedigree!!! H.B.K. crawls over to make the cover, as Triple H. gets out of the ring, grabs & tosses the official back in the ring.. 1..................................... 2.............................................. 3!!!! Triple H. gets back in the ring to help H.B.K. to his feet, as the fans erupt for the reunion of D-X!!! Triple H. gives H.B.K. a D-X shirt, only to exit the ring with H.B.K. smiling & nodding.

Grudge Match: Sid Vicious v. Vader (If Sid wins, he'll face Mr. McMahon at the next p.p.v.)
Match Ending: Sid is over-coming all odds, as the Impact Players rush the ring, attempting to get his attention, only for Sid to take both of them out. Vader rushes in behind Sid, but Sid side-steps him, sending him into the turnbuckle, chest first. Vader stumbles out, into the grip of Sid, who delivers a massive Chokeslam to the Big man. Sid covers Vader, as the official begins to count.. 1.............................................. 2............................ The official is suddenly yanked out of the ring, as Mr. McMahon appears over him, yelling that he won't allow that to happen. Sid gets up, as he points down at McMahon, only to get attacked from behind by the Impact Players.

Both Lance Storm & Justin Credible whip Sid to the far side ropes, & attempt a double-team clothesline, only for Sid to bounce back & duck underneath, only to turn & grab both men by the throat, delivering a double man Chokeslam!!!! Vader gets to his feet, as he double hand claps Sid from behind. Vader positions Sid up for a powerbomb, only for Sid to power him up & over, as Sid then kicks Vader in the gut, & deliver another Chokeslam, but instead of going for the cover, he signals for a powerbomb of his own.

Sid pulls Vader up, as he positions him for a Powerbomb, only for McMahon to get up on the apron & attempt to gain Sid's attention. Sid turns suddenly to deliver a surprise punch to McMahon, knocking him off the apron, only to turn back into a low blow by Vader. Vader drags a prone Sid to the corner, as he begins climbing the turnbuckles, only to stop, as McMahon points from the ground to go to the very top. Vader gets set up to deliver a top rope moonsault, only for Sid to regain himself & get up to deliver a Powerbomb on Vader from off the top rope!!! Sid covers, as the official outside gets up & shoves McMahon away, quickly getting in & making the count.. 1.................................. 2..................................... 3!!! Sid Vicious has won the right to face Mr. McMahon at the next A.C.W. P.P.V.?!?!?!?

A.C.W. Tag Team Championships: Tag Team Tormoil: Impact Players v. Kenny Dykstra/John Morrison v. America's Most Wanted v. Dudley Boyz (Dykstra/Morrison enter last)
Match Highlights: America's Most Wanted started with the Dudley Boyz, as both teams hit signature moves. The end saw the Dudleyz attempt a 3-D, on Storm, only for Harris to come the side, spearing Bubba Ray, as Storm punched D-Von with brass knuckles to pick up the pin-fall & advance to face the Impact Players. The finish of this part came with Lance Storm attempting a superkick on Chris Harris, only for Harris to catch his attempt & spin him around to James Storm, who kicks Lance & delivers the "Eye of the Storm!" Harris picks up the pin, as Storm stops Credible from making the save.

Match Ending: A.M.W. v. Morrison/Dykstra is the final match-up. A.M.W. starts to wear down, as Dykstra connects with a top rope leg drop on Harris, only for Morrison to jump in & rush over, knocking Storm off the apron. Morrison tells Dykstra to lift Harris in a version of the "Snap-Shot?!" As Morrison begins to walk over & connect the move on a prone Harris, Chris Benoit rushes out from the back, as he leaps up on the apron, gaining not just the attention of the official, but also John Morrison.

Morrison walks over to Benoit, arguing with him, as Dykstra lowers Harris to the mat. Dykstra begins to turn to help Morrison, only to be met with a beer bottle to the head, via James Storm. Storm connects with a clothesline to the back of Morrison's head, sending him outside the ring, as Benoit jumps down holding his hands up. Harris crawls over & covers Dykstra, as the official turns & counts. 1............................................. 2................................................. ..... 3!!!! America's Most Wanted ran the gauntlet & became the first A.C.W. Tag Team Champions, with the help of Chris Benoit?!

Winners & Tag Team Champions: America's Most Wanted

A.C.W. International Championship: Authentic Elimination: Chris Benoit v. Dustin Rhodes v. Kane v. Lex Luger

Match Rules: Authentic Elimination is this: 2 men start, after 5 minutes, another enters from the back, after another 5 minutes, another enters.. once all 4 are wrestling, it turns into a fight to eliminate their opponents. When a wrestler is pinned or submits, he spends 2 minutes in the elimination box. The wrestler who made the pin/submission, is legal to climb the ladder & take down the Championship. (yes, its basically a ladder match, with KOTM/EC rules)

Match Highlights: Chris Benoit started with Dustin Rhodes, both men utilized the ladder as a weapon, as Benoit delivered a diving head-butt to Rhodes.. Luger was the next to enter, as he quickly began working over Benoit & Rhodes, who were both weakened by the ladder. Luger stayed dominate until Kane entered, as the final man. Kane hits a chokeslam on Benoit, off the top of the ladder, to get the pin & legal ability to climb the ladder to take down the Championship. Luger & Kane fight, as Benoit is stuck in the elimination box. Later on.. Rhodes pins Kane after a Bulldog from off the top of a pair of ladders. Kane is in the box, as Benoit is out. Luger misses a clothesline on Rhodes, as Benoit catches him as he's entering the ring & makes him tap to the Crossface. Luger & Kane are stuck in the box.

Match Ending: Benoit & Rhodes are the two men legally able to climb, as Kane is still in the elimination box & Luger has yet to pick up a legal pin or submission to gain the ability. Benoit attempts a Crossface, but Rhodes counters & hits a Bulldog on Benoit, which causes him to fall face first onto the Ladder. Rhodes covers Benoit, as the ref. counts to two before James Storm & Chris Harris rush down & grab both the official & Dustin Rhodes' attention. Storm comes in behind Rhodes & violently hits him over his head, with one of their newly won Tag Team Championships, as Kane has 30 seconds to go. Luger still has 50 seconds. Harris drags Benoit across Rhodes, as the official counts 3. Benoit it the only man left in the ring, as Kane now has 24 seconds. Harris & Storm pick up a half-way knocked out Chris Benoit & carry him up the ladder, as he takes down the International Championship, to become the first InternationalChampion in A.C.W.!!!

Winner & International Champion: Chris Benoit

A.C.W. World Heavyweight Championship Finals: 3 Stages of Hell: Triple H. v. Ric Flair: 1. Stip: Submission Match, 2. Stip: Steel Cage/Weapons Match, 3. Stip: (If needed) Ladder Mach

Match Highlights: First fall went to Ric Flair, who locked Triple H. in the figure four after severely working over Triple H's knees. Second fall went to Triple H. who bloodied Ric Flair inside the Steel Cage & delivered a massive Pedigree, setting up the 3rd & final fall.. a Ladder Match to determine the first ever A.C.W. World Heavyweight Champion.

Match Ending: Both men have lost massive amounts of blood, as Flair is a mess & Triple H. isn't far behind him. Flair chops Triple H. in the corner, as Triple H. begins to no-sell the chops, as adrenaline kicks in. Flair begs off & drops to his knees, asking for Triple H. to hold off. As H.H.H. looks out at the crowd, Flair quickly jabs him in the eyes, then delivers a low blow for good measure.

Flair sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring, as he begins to climb. Triple H. grabs Flair's foot, as he tries pulling him down, but only succeed's in pulling Flair's tights down, as the fans boo, with some slight cheers? Flair kicks Triple H. back into the ropes, only for H.H.H. to rebound into the ladder, causing Flair to come down across the ropes, giving him a version of the stun-gun.
As both men lay on the mat, America's Most Wanted & Chris Benoit all rush out from the back, as they slide into the ring & begin stomping on Triple H.?!?!?! Benoit lifts him & delivers a set of triple german suplexes, as Harris & Storm then set him up & deliver the "Death Sentence!"

Suddenly, the fans erupt as H.B.K. with a steel chair rushes out from the back, sliding into the ring. Benoit goes to meet him, but quickly gets a low blow for his efforts. As H.B.K. sends Benoit up & over the ropes, Harris & Storm begin to double team H.B.K., only to whip him to the far side ropes, but H.B.K. rebounds quickly, catching both men with a flying double clothesline!! H.H.H. gets to his feet, as H.B.K. & H.H.H. stare each other down, only to both begin to smile!!! H.H.H. kicks Harris, & sets him up for a Pedigree, as he delivers it, H.B.K. Superkicks Storm!!!

Ric Flair meanwhile is beginning to climb up the backside of the ladder, toward the Championship, as H.B.K. & H.H.H. stand side-by-side in the middle of the ring. Triple H. raises his arms to begin the crotch chopping, but suddeny out of nowhere, H.B.K. SUPER-KICKS Triple H.!??!??!? H.B.K. rips off the D-X shirt, only to spit on it & toss it down, saying "Now we're even."?!?! Meanwhile, Ric Flair has captured the Championship from the top of the ladder, as the officials signal for the bell..

Winner & New World Heavyweight Champion: Ric Flair

That was, IMO, the best show of this entire thing so far. A new Four Horsemen, with Flair, Benoit and AMW? Damn, I wish I hadn't traded them away now! Good luck BigWill, I think you can take this thing.

I don't know how voting works, but if you have even an ounce of desire to vote for me, don't. I am not in this competition.

Show: The Path to Stardom

Match #1
Ricky Steamboat vs. Brian Pillman

Match Notes: A match between two highly skilled wrestlers. Both are skilled technical wrestlers as well as noted high flyers. While the Vegas oddmakers have Steamboat as the slight favorite, Pillman has spent a lifetime proving naysayers wrong.

Steamboat’s Keys to Success:

1. Keep Pillman grounded. While Steamboat is no novice to aerial wrestling, Pillman loves to take chances off the top rope. When he is able to connect on his high risk maneuvers, Flyin’ Brian is very difficult to defeat.

2. Take calculated risks. Steamboat is the more experienced of the two wrestlers, and should rely on that experience to understand proper times to go for the victory.

Pillman’s Keys to Success:

1. Use natural athleticism. Pillman is a former collegiate standout football player, with amazing athleticism. He needs to use this advantage if he wants to take down Steamboat.
2. Do not play to the crowd. Pillman has a tendency to try too hard to keep the crowd on his side, and many times, this causes him to take chances which misfire. In a match with a great wrestler like Steamboat, one mistake is all it will take.

Match #2
Kerry Von Erich vs. Ted DiBiase

Match Notes: One of the great heels of all time vs. one of the great good guys of all time. DiBiase is a conniving, spoiled, arrogant jerk. Kerry Von Erich is a true man of the people, good looking, strong, and stands up for the right thing. After DiBiase cut an interview talking about how he can buy anyone out for the right price, Von Erich came out, and challenged him to a match, telling the world he will not sell out.

DiBiase’s Keys to Success:

1. Take the crowd out early. Kerry thrives on support from the fans, and removing their presence early will take a big bite out of Kerry’s support.

2. Keep the match at a pace that is comfortable. Do not attempt to wrestle Von Erich’s match. Make Von Erich wrestle your match.

Von Erich’s Keys to Success:

1. Don’t let DiBiase play mind games. Keep focused on the task at hand.

2. Use the fans to your advantage. Feed off their energy and support when you are feeling down and out. This is like a homecourt advantage for Von Erich, so make good use of it.

Match #3
World Tag Team Championship
3 Way Tag Team Free-For-All
Fabulous Freebirds vs. Rock N’ Roll Express vs. 4 Horseman (Anderson/Windham)

Match Notes: There are no “legal men” in this match. All 6 men will be competing at one time, and the first man to get a pinfall or submission over an opponent will declare his team victorious. This is three of the greatest groups of the NWA in the 1980s, going at it. Representing the Freebirds will be Terry Gordy and Michaels Hayes. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson are the Rock N’ Roll Express, and representing the 4 Horsemen will be “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson and Barry Windham.

All Teams’ Keys to Success:

1. Be aware of everything that is going on. In a wild match like this, with no rules and 4 other men gunning for you, it is important to know who is fighting who and who is pinning who. It is imperative to never be to far from your other opponents, lest they get a win without your team even being involved in the decision. Awareness is critical.

2. Leave it all out in the arena. This match is for the prestigious Tag Team Championship belts. Anything left in the tank after this match is useless.

Match #4
Grudge Match
Magnum T.A. vs. Tully Blanchard

Match Notes: In 1985, Tully Blanchard of The 4 Horsemen and Magnum T.A. engaged in a bloody and brutal feud, which culminated in a barbaric steel cage “I Quit” Match at Starrcade, in a match that is remembered and talked about to this day. If you haven’t seen this match, you must check it out. This match ended the feud and finally settled the score between the two men…

…or so we thought. Tully, after years of being unable to live with himself, challenged Magnum to one last match. Magnum, being the stand-up kind of guy he is, accepted the match, proving himself once again to all those fans who have supported him through the years. This match, will finally decide, once and for all, who is the better man.

Both Men’s Keys to Success:

1. Don’t let bloodlust overcome you. Do not allow your hatred for your opponent take you out of your game plan and what you want to do. Stick to your strategy going in.

2. Play to your strengths. In a match between two guys who know each other so well, trying to capitalize on opponent’s weakness will not work. You must focus on your own strengths, and be confident yours are greater than your opponents.

Match #5
Great Muta vs. Jushin Liger

Match Notes: This is a match that makes wrestling fans all over the world ejaculate in their pants. Women too. No hype should be necessary for this match.

Match #6
No Holds Barred
Stan Hansen vs. Bruiser Brody

Match Notes: Two of the most respect gaijin in Japanese history, and two of the greatest brawlers in professional wrestling. Both are numerous times main-event champions, as well as both being major draws. Fans flock to see these two wrestle independently. Now, they will come to watch them square off.

Match #7
Jerry Lawler vs. Harley Race

Match Notes: Harley Race is an 8 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Jerry Lawler has been World Champion over 30 times, in various promotions. Both men have named themselves as a “King” at some point in their careers. It is time to see who the best man really is.

Match #8
World Championship Match
Bruno Sammartino vs. Andre the Giant

Match Notes: Tonight, we have a match-up of two of the most beloved wrestling superstars ever. Bruno Sammartino, a man who held the World title for a combined length of over 11 years. Andre the Giant, a man who was never pinned, never submitted for over 20 years. Two of the biggest draws in wrestling history. Two of the biggest names in the wrestling business. Before Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, there was Andre the Giant, filling stadiums and drawing masses to his matches. And, before Andre, there was Bruno, selling out Madison Square Garden over 70 times. This is a match between two of the greatest professional wrestlers ever, in what can only be labeled as a “Dream Match”.

Oh yeah, the World Championship title is on the line too.

One would Be Hulk Hogan, and the other would be Cena. Both are already taken.

The whole point of this was that I criticized some people's list because they had such ridiculous picks when a host of greats were left off. Someone asked me to name them and I did, and then was told that they weren't sure that could be turned into an interesting card.

So, I took the guys that weren't picked and that I came up with, after all others had picked, to create that roster.

If I have the chance, I definitely would have taken Hogan. But, unless I could have gotten my hands on others, I would not have taken Cena, as he just would not have fit.

Even then I am surprised you left off Giant Baba and Mitsuharu MisawaI really know very very little about them. I've seen a couple of Misawa matches, but nothing really to write about. Additionally, I doubt that most people here have even heard of those two do it really would not have worked.

At least with guys like Tully Blanchard and Barry Windham I can say they were 4 Horsemen, and with Bruno I can say he was an 11 year champion, and so on. Those two guys, while certainly all-time greats, I don't think have the recognition factor with the board members here as easily as the others do.

If that makes sense.

Slyfox I have to say that was a good card with teh legends even if most people wouldnt vote for it just becasue they dont know who they are. But on one point I have to disagree. To put Taz down there with the shot guys is ridiculous. He was one of the best WRESTLERS in ECW period and is ten times the wrestler Cena is. Not trying to start a fight mind you just suprised to see him there. (i also admit that I have seen tons of stuff of some of the old guys and quite frankly think some of them suck too as they were not much more than brwalers)

Slyfox I have to say that was a good card with teh legends even if most people wouldnt vote for it just becasue they dont know who they are. If anyone would like to understand why I think they are so good, then just ask me. I can direct some people to matches to show off how amazing some of these guys were. And, I'd start you with the Tully vs. Magnum "I Quit" match in a cage.

Not speaking to you, just the general public.

But, I do want to point out, that I do'nt want anyone to vote for me, which is why I probably won't release my results until tomorrow.

But on one point I have to disagree. To put Taz down there with the shot guys is ridiculous. He was one of the best WRESTLERS in ECW period and is ten times the wrestler Cena is. Taz was classic case of "big fish, small pond".

I'll just put it like this. If Taz was so good, how come the WWF or the WCW never stole him until late 99, early 2000? Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Dean Malenko, Sabu, Juventud Guerrera, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Raven, Stevie Richards etc.....all of these guys were signed by the major companies during the height of the Monday Night Wars.

If Taz was so good, how come nobody ever signed him?

(i also admit that I have seen tons of stuff of some of the old guys and quite frankly think some of them suck too as they were not much more than brwalers)Like who?

Match 1:

Edge vs. Jeff Jarrett

A solid opener, if nothing particularly special. Both had something to prove after both unceremoniously losing at last month’s PPV. Not a particularly long contest, but one that both gave their all in, and one that entertained the fans. As the match war on, it became apparent that Jarrett was in control, but had had The Stroke reversed on several separate occasions. In one such instance, Edge came out of nowhere looking for The Spear, but met only the referee’s stomach after Jarrett dodged out of the way. As Edge tries to bring the referee round, Jarrett retrieves his guitar from outside the ring. Edge sees him approaching and tries to quickly execute a Spear but ends up on the receiving end of a guitar strike. Now it’s Jarrett that’s trying to revive the referee, but to no avail, as the official is still drowsy from the spear and not able to coordinate properly yet. Christian Cage comes out of nowhere and hits an Unprettier on Jarrett onto a chair, before rolling Edge onto of his lifeless body. The referee slowly counts to three.

Edge wins via pinfall.

After the match, Cage helps Edge to the back, as the two raise each others arms.

Match 2:
I Quit

Abyss vs. Ken Shamrock

Plenty of blood, sweat and tears were spilled in this match. Both opponents are renowned for being nearly impossible to make submit, no matter the amount of glass, tacks, barbed wire and submission holds, of which there were plenty. Both are almost completely exhausted, but they still have it in them to carry on the battle. Both are on their feet. Shamrock is standing in front of a pile of thick barbed wire as Abyss charges at him. At the last second, he hits Abyss with a drop toe hold, dropping the monster directly into the sharpened mess. Abyss screams and tries to scramble out but Shamrock twists his leg into the Ankle Lock. It takes several minutes, but finally Abyss screams, “I… quit!!”

Shamrock wins via submission.

Match 3:
World Title Tournament
Match 1, Round 2

Mike Awesome vs. The Undertaker

These two giants collided in an epic, crowd-pleasing match-up. Awesome, who, for one of the first times ever, was considered to be the underdog, dominated in the early going. However, the ever resilient Undertaker came back, and with an impact. It all seemed as if it was over for Awesome, as the Undertaker stalked him for The Chokeslam, what was sure to be the finishing blow. In fact, he managed to deliver it, but Awesome refused to be beaten, kicking out of the ensuing pin. As The Undertaker raises Awesome to his feet, he receives a kick to the gut, followed by an Awesome Bomb to the outside, followed by a Suicide Dive. Both seem out of it as the referee begins to count to 10. Awesome begins to stir and gets to his feet first, but all of a sudden, The Undertaker sits up and strikes Awesome several times, before painstakingly delivering a Tombstone Piledriver onto the steel steps. Undertaker quickly slides into the ring as Awesome is counted out.

Undertaker wins via count out.

Match 4:
Pure Title No. 1 Contender

Taz vs. Homicide

A brutal match-up, mostly thanks to Taz, who was so enraged by his previous loss to Low Ki that he spared nothing. Homicide wasn’t one to lie down and take it though, and he fought as brutally as his opponent. Finally, it came down to the two battling in the center of the ring, each delivering belly-to-belly suplexing each other in turn. As Homicide stumbles towards Taz for a fourth time, he is unwittingly locked into the Tazmission. He stays on his feet as long as he can, but eventually drops onto the floor and out of consciousness.

Taz wins via knockout.

Match 5:
Ultimate X

AJ Styles vs. Austin Aries

Partners turned unwilling opponents in this match. They seemed reluctant to fight in the early stages but became less so as they came to the mutual realization of the proportions of this match. The match was originally ground-based, but then the top rope came into use when the two pulled off what could even be described as insane stunts. Even this was topped when the “X” above the ring came into play, both wrestlers experiencing vicious falls from grace, to say the least. After a cutter from the very centre of it, both struggle to get to their feet, Styles is the quickest and uses his agility to get to the top as quickly as possible. However, Aries is waiting for him and yanks him down, positioning him for a crucifix power bomb. He tosses Styles up in the air, but AJ grabs onto the ropes hanging above the ring, unhooking the prize and dropping down.

AJ Styles wins by removing the prize from the centre of the X.

Match 6:
World Title Tournament
Match 2, Round 2

Christian Cage vs. The Rock

Christian won this match-up by winning the TLC over his brother Edge at the previous PPV, and he seemed confident for it. Overconfident, perhaps, as The Rock took the fight right to him, almost taking him out of the equation totally. It took Cage a low-blow to get back into things, and he managed to keep control for quite a while from there on, even managing to put The Great One through an announce table. The Rock managed to come back though, and had Christian almost on breaking point. He lays the Instant Classic to the mat with a Rock Bottom and looks to deliver the People’s Elbow. However, Edge comes out of nowhere with a steel chair and swings it at the Great One. The Rock sees it coming though, and Rock Bottoms Edge on top of his own brother. He then delivers a double People’s Elbow and covers for the three count.

The Rock wins via pinfall.

Match 7:
Pure Title Match

Nigel McGuinness vs. Low Ki (C)

These two very different yet similar strikers took chunks out of each other in a vicious contest. Although Low Ki’s superior speed and agility helped him out, Nigel’s brutality and ferociousness made it an even contest, he even managed to block and reverse several of Low Ki’s hard-hitting, unforeseeable kicks. Low Ki has now gained the upper hand and has positioned himself on the top rope. He leaps off, looking to deliver Warrior’s Way, but McGuinness rolls out of the way and twists him inside out with a Lariat. He goes for the pin but to no avail. He then puts Low Ki into the corner, looking for the Tower Of London, but Low Ki hit s a straight kick to the face, knocking Nigel to the floor. Ki gets on his feet, but is shoved off of them by Taz, who has come down to ringside. This leaves the Warrior vulnerable to the Tower of London, which is delivered with force. However, Low Ki kicks out. Nigel raises him to his feet and throws him to the ropes, but Taz has grabbed him, locking in the Tazmission. The referee calls for the bell.

Low Ki wins via DQ.

After the match, Taz refuses to break the hold. Until McGuinness punches him off, that is. An angry Taz runs into the ring and chokes out a distracted McGuinness, adding to his list of victims.

Match 8:
Tag Team Title Cage Match

The British Bulldogs (C) vs. Harlem Heat

These two battled brutally inside the structure, neither giving an inch. Willingly, at least. All four were busted open in the early going, but the Dynamite Kid was the one that cleared house after the Harlem pairing double teamed Davey Boy Smith, to dramatic effect. As Smith and Booker battle near the top of the cage, Smith clambers to the outside, but only drops off when Booker connects with a mid-air Scissors Kick, dropping into the ring himself and lying motionless. On the opposite side, the Dynamite Kid tosses Stevie to the outside with a German Suplex, but, instead of climbing out to victory, dives into the centre of the ring, connecting with Booker with a Diving Headbutt. The Kid lays motionless but is on top of Booker, leading the referee to count to three.

The British Bulldogs win via pinfall.

Match 9:
Main Event
World Title Tournament
Match 3, Round 2

Kurt Angle vs. Bryan Danielson

These two were very respectful of each other throughout the match, behaving accordingly. They took it to the mat during most of the mat, but that took nothing off the pace as the two matched each other move-for-move. It came down to who was better, but neither could outmatch the other, even when both had been busted open on the very same ringpost. Danielson even refused to give in after a German Suplex from the apron through the remaining announce table. However, he is unable to get the upper hand, as he’s locked into the Ankle Lock, unable to get to the ropes. He manages to roll under himself and throw Angle into the ringpost. As the Olympian stumbles backwards, Danielson hits the Dragon Suplex, going for the pin, but he is unsuccessful. He then manages to lock in Cattle Mutilation, and leaves Angle in it for several excruciating minutes. All of a sudden, Angle manages to roll on top of Danielson, and just about gets a quick three.

Angle wins via pinfall.

The crowd applauds as the two shake hands before embracing, as the show goes off air.

As to who I was never impressed well you did annoucne their match as a brawl and that is both Stan Hansen and the Bruiser. I was never impressed with either that is just my opnion. I have seen them tag team and quite frankly there matches rank right up there with The Beverly brothers versus The WWF Bushwackers.
On the other hands major props for Dibaise as he was IMO the greatest to never hold a world title. Almost all the other matches i would love to have seen.

As far as Taz I can see your point but my point wasnt that he was a major player but he was a damn good wretler and the best ECW ever had. His drawback as far as going to another promotion was his size and quite frankly his lack of any sort of flair (which as we see from his time as a broadcastre he had plenty of). it is hard to take a badass series who is one step up from a midget. I was really defending the fact that you called him a crap wrestler in the category of guys like Kahli, Credible, and Gangrel. I wouldnt put him on the level or a Rock or HBK necessarily but definetly up there with guys like Jarret, Booker, Orton and Goldberg (who I always felt was more of a joke and loved the match that Regal got fired for where he made him look a total wet behind the ears greenhorn

I have to ask does this match have anything to do with the recent WZ tag team tourney done by Shockmaster which featured thsi very same contorversila match or is this just an happy concidence. Either way good card and good match

Match 8:
Tag Team Title Cage Match

The British Bulldogs (C) vs. Harlem Heat[/B]

No, just an awesome coincidence. OK, I'll set the poll up tonight. I'm offline for a while now.

Well, it would appear that cmlv and TWFS have still not posted shows. Rather than disqualifying them, I will generously give them another 24 hours to post their shows, before making the poll.

As this is now in danger of dying, I have now decided to disqualify TWFS and cmlv from the competition. Final cards from myself and The One Big Will are due in two weeks time, and there is no limit to length. Let the finals commence!

A NAICW World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned, and will be on of these three men: The Rock, The Undertaker or Kurt Angle.

Sorry to cmlv18 & TWFS.. goodluck Mr. Sam, I'll get to working right now. (so the finals - card, match description, finish, everything - there is NO limit to how long it can be?)

Also, you said two weeks, so roughly by October 14th? (2 wks from today, Sunday)
